We recently connected with Resi Stiegler and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Resi thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Our Mission at Stiegler Ski Racing Camps, is to provide the highest level or training and a positive environment for athletes to thrive. We love meeting each athlete who comes through our program. Seeing their goals and what they want to accomplish and setting them up for success. We want to be a positive force and step in their career that gets them closer to what they want. Also a step in their journey that they remember for life lessons that come even after ski racing ends. Life lessons and building up them up for all that life has to offer.

Resi , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a retired 3 x Olympian who raced for the USA. I spent 20 years on the world cup racing around the world. I had a lot of success and some major injuries but I never stopped loving it. I am now a coach and mother of two amazing girls. I love coaching because I know how much it means to the athletes that I see and how it feels to be fighting for the top spot. I also love to motivate or see the potential in someone and give them the confidence they might be lacking in themselves. I am a true believer if you put your mind to it and truly believe in yourself you can accomplish a lot!
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I really want to give the youth the confidence. In themselves, In the life they imagine and in who they are. I think a lot of things in the last years of made it difficult for young kids to get back to playing in the mountains and just being kids and loving their lives and themselves and listening to themselves. Trusting their intuition. I want that for everyone I come across. I really think if you can give them confidence and teach them to listen to their gut and believe in themselves a lot can change for them in their lifetime. I want kids to go out and be wild and free and also be able to think quickly and smartly and enjoy the journey or ride they are on. Sometimes with being a competitive athlete I think being fierce is great but you can be fierce and kind or competitive and focused and enjoy it all. Don’t put yourself in a box. Think big!
Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Trust, transparency, having the same goals. I think managing a team and working with family can be great if you know what you want and all have the same vision or at least can bring to the table to ideas and build from there. Having complete trust in the people you work with and building on that only gives the team and groups we work with better confidence and energy! Being a strong force that works together makes it all flow better!
