Reshina, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I was born in Fort Myers Florida and as a little girl I had to come stay with my mom parents because both of my parents was in prison. My father went for selling drugs, and my mom went for killing her boyfriend protecting me and he, it happen in front of me at age 6. I was raise up around lots cousins, aunties, uncles, I was my mom only child. I was bully so much coming up by so many people thats was family and kids in school. I Was laugh at because I didn’t have my parents when it was time for parents to come to the school when we had occasion/meeting going on at school, I was always pick on for my color and size I was all type of namesbut I had to learn how protect myself all my life and learn how to fight. But getting treating so badly without noone realizing it but me made me decide not to let what happening get the best of me, after I got older getting in trouble in school it was getting the best of me and it made me look like I was the problem because I hold in everything people around me said and did to me to myself. I started becoming a ticking time bomb. I started praying to the lord to help me found my way and he did just that. he got me away from the negative crowd he showed me what family members and so call friends didn’t mean me know good he gave me what I need. as I got older enough to get a job I been working and grinding every since. At age 12 I started writing music, music has always been a patient I turn my poetry in rhymes. I started cooking and became a beast. I also started doing comedy skits a few years ago and just started my own blended spices brand name Country Shina’s Insane Spices. I didn’t let what was trying to break me. Get to me I let it make me become a very talented entrepreneur.
Reshina, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m just A all in one typed of entrepreneur I do it all I cater events, cook for private brunch etc I also make my own blend spices my name brand is Country Shina’s Insane Spices I also direct my own short film Country style life. My products I have is all in one dipping sauce, already mix hot sauce n bbq sauce. I ALlso write music, due podcast for me having so many different talent I am very proud of my spice ate now in 2 store so far in Alabama.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Yes I build my audience and followers off being me yes just be yourself and love what you do. When you first start off you gonna wanna quick because you think we’ll I ain’t got no call or purchase or even likes yet on what your selling, so it will make you think man this ain’t gonna work. I done did it. But keep posting daily because one thing for sure they not like commenting or share but they watching.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Constantly promoting yes keep your face, products, what ever you do in sight. Your presentation is the key people love good work.
