Hi Renier, thanks for joining us today. One of the toughest parts of scaling a business is maintaining quality as you grow. How have you managed to maintain quality? Any stories or advice?
One of the prominent challenges I see for growing small businesses, including myself, is maintaining quality of service and the customer/client experience as the business grows and scales. Technology has advancements are incredible in making us more efficient yet the most valuable assets still remain the same as always. HUMAN CAPITAL
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My father left when I was 14 y/o, thereafter I became the man of the house, my mother got into residential real estate sales because it was an industry to make enough money to support our family while providing the flexibility to be an engaged and present mother with us.
Despite my best efforts to explore personal passions and other areas of interest, real estate has been at the center of my entire adult professional life. It is by far the #1 business, center of my expertise, involvement, and success. It’s the vehicle that has allowed me to grow the most in every aspect of my life. Financially, spiritually, personally, and in every way. There are so many ways to create abundance in this life and for me real estate was my gateway(drug :) to seeing there is so much more for those who seek it out.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
See Canyon Estate | 2.5+ year project to help clients move from CA to Hawaii to savor the remaining years of their lives and live out their dreams. They designed, developed, and built an amazing estate that was one of a kind in every way. This created an incredible challenge in marketing a property of this caliber and unique nature. All the top agents in the area had tried to sell the property and had failed before the opportunity came to me. During the process agents would tell me that it’s never going to sell, I refused to accept that and always had conviction we would make it happen and help the clients move on. That’s exactly what we did!
To date, it remains of my most prominent memories and equally deep relationships with the clients to go through this experience. They are truly family now, so much more than clients, and the experience we shared will stay with me forever!
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
The universal law of abundance, the more you give of yourself and to others the more comes back around. The blessings are limitless and we must let go of trying to control everything. It always works out, many times better than we planned.
I struggled with this for years and with a distorted relationship with money. The mindset of not having enough, not being able to make enough, and holding on so tight to what you have you miss out on so many amazing experiences. I am still working on this but feel so much more at ease with my business, income, and resources. I have seen my personal growth and business growth evolve and progress in unison. They move together and it’s incredibly rewarding and gratifying for me.
