Renee, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
Most meaningful project I’ve worked on will have to be my Sneaker Project. I am still working on this project.
I enjoy the ART within a sneaker. With me being a CREARTERA (Someome who Creates Art With A Camera) I wanted to choose certain people that love sneakers because the ART within the sneaker and not because it just looks good and everybody else is getting it. Like the reason is deeper. They actually love it because the reason the sneaker was created, the color, the detailed fabric, etc.
I wanted to create a project that surrounds that and decided to capture that with different style photoshoots for each individual I have apart of the project.
It’s so much more to it. I can talk about it for days.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?
Hello to everyone reading this. My name is Renee Neptune. I am an Artist. An Artist in regards to being a Photographer and Fashion Brand Owner. I am from a lot of different places. I currently reside in Raleigh, NC. I got into photography due to me not having someone to capture my fashion brand SAFAAIL. I started to take images in the music industry, sports industry as well as lifestyle shoots and decided that I would take the chance of turning it into something more. As an artist I don’t like to be limited when it comes to creating. With my fashion brand SAFAAIL and photography I’m able to be as creative as I want with no limit.
Safaail is my wearableART brand. It is an acronym that stands for “Sneakers and Fashion; Fashion and Art I Love. Art will be the parents while Sneakers and Fashion are the children. To understand the brand more in depth follow my instagram @safaail05 and checkout the highlights.
My photography is still a growing part of me being an ARTIST. Follow my instagram pages @reneeneptuneshots which is mainly for brands and businesses. My instagram @neptunesmedia is where you can find my sports work, music industry and lifestyle photoshoot work.
The problem I solve for my clients is I create content for their brand/business. With content people are able to get a snippet of your brand/business through images and video. That alone will help a brand/business grow exponentially.
What sets me apart from others is my last name NEPTUNE. Another thing that sets me apart is that I’m always thinking from an ART aspect when I create whether that’s with my camera or pencil.
I am an ARTIST. When you see my work understand it’s always a story behind why an image was taken and why a product was designed. It’s never a just because it looks cool creation.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative artist is being able to create with no limit. Being able to create from your point of view and have others love your work and understand your work is a phenomenal feeling.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
What helped me build my reputation within the markets I am in is going to different events and being consistent. Also shaking hands and connecting with people in every room that I step foot in.
