We recently connected with Renaissauja and have shared our conversation below.
Renaissauja , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I hope for what it shall be. Memorable, timeless, & relevant. Memorable because I left great marks & impressions on people & they shall be thankful. Timeless because my legacy will forever remain fresh to what life is about (happiness, freedom, peace). Relevant because it will have a cycle effect. It will always be helpful to someone’s life.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I got into the industry by taking a risk & opening up my mouth. I NETWORK! I am far from afraid when it comes to networking. I am the gorilla in the zoo when it comes to it. I offered business that I knew I loved & that people would need. Importantly enough, I stuck with what I loved, never loosing myself in the process. My discipline comes from the Most High. Staying prayed up is the key to it all as well as having faith! The work I provide including being an acting, mode coaching as well as modeling, creative direction, casting directing, & host, I model coach for fashion shows & I do one on one classes for male & female. My creative direction comes from photoshoots for the model if they want/need an eye for creativity that helps them with poses and/or facial expression. I also help come up with concepts for a photo and/or video-shoot. I am a casting director for hip-hop & R&B videos as well as photoshoots, & fashion shows. One of the main things I want my clients, follower, and/or fans, to know about myself as well as my work & brand is that this is a creative space that is here to help & make a masterpiece.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my audience by putting out content that was true to myself as well as content I knew people would want to see over time. If you stay true to yourself, you have the first step. The advice I would give to those who are just starting to build the social media presence is to have a plan. What is the end goal for you? How do you want it to look when you are at your peak? Even if it doesn’t look as such, at least have an idea. Go from there & stay consistent!
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
What helped build my reputation within my market is how I treat people online but mainly how I treat people in person. I am good at being a people person, I am not a people pleaser. The difference lives. When you do a good job at showing people your pure intentions versus being weird about things, people tend to buy into that more & that’s the scent you leave on them, even when they wash clothes.
