Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Remi Haddocks, Morgan Green and Renaldo Woods . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Remi | Morgan | Renaldo, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
We believe that discipline, consistency, and resilience are the keys to success. Last year was our first year as a LLP, and it took hard work and persistence to make it through the first year. Being successful in our careers outside of ATL Committee has been something that we have strived for over the last decade and take pride in. As a Corporate professional, a successful realtor, and notorious barber, staying disciplined, consistent and resilient have been the only way to overcome learning curves, hard times, and ensuring that we are present in our profession and in our business.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
ATL Committee is a group of people who are growing, connecting and rebuilding ATL by way of events and networking. We take pride in bringing diverse groups together such as veterans, , LGBTQIA+, minorities and more. We create safe spaces for everyone to thrive. That alone is what separates us from most. We believe in inclusion and respect for all.
We are most proud of the impact we’ve been able to have on the community through our podcast. We have been well received by millions of people. We use our platform to educate others, expose people to educational, motivational, entrepreneurial and cultural speakers, and encourage business owners to follow their passions.
Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
If you would’ve told us that we were going to meet and 10 years later we would be business partners, we would have laughed. We met serving tables together at the same restaurant in Atlanta, GA. Each of us spent a lengthy amount of time at the restaurant and at the right time God brought us all together. When we worked together at the restaurant we were all friends and would laugh together often. During the pandemic once we no longer worked together, we came together to host a reunion with everyone we once worked with. It was a huge success! Looking at how that came together, we had the idea to do it on a bigger level and incorporate the community.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
One of the best books to read when trying to become a better person that’s more efficient and focused would be Atomic Habits. So much of our success if rooted within our choices and our daily habits. We are our own worst enemy and we have to be able to hold ourselves accountable to make changes when needed. All 3 of us have read this book and it’s helped so much with holding one another accountable.
