We were lucky to catch up with Rejoice Anusi recently and have shared our conversation below.
Rejoice , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The Story Behind JoiceMedia
JoiceMedia was born from more than just a love for design and digital storytelling—it came from a deep desire to help people show up with confidence and clarity in a noisy online world.
When I started, I didn’t have it all figured out— I’’m still figuring it out.
I was just someone with a passion for creativity, a heart to serve, and the determination to grow. Over time, I realized that so many individuals, brands, and small businesses had amazing stories, but struggled to present them well—visually, strategically, and consistently. That’s where JoiceMedia came in.
It became more than a business. It became a mission: to help others communicate their value, build trust online, and stand out for the right reasons. Whether it’s through thoughtful design, intentional video editing, or meaningful strategy, everything we do is built on purpose.
What makes this work important to me is knowing that behind every brand is a person—often with a dream, a story, and a message that matters. Helping them bring that to life in a way that connects with others? That’s what keeps me going.
JoiceMedia isn’t just about media. It’s about meaning, clarity, and impact.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Rejoice Anusi, and I’m the founder of JoiceMedia—a creative brand focused on helping individuals and small businesses show up with clarity, confidence, and excellence online.
I started out with a genuine love for design and storytelling. Over time, I began to see how many people had powerful messages or great products but lacked the right visuals and structure to communicate them effectively. That’s what pulled me deeper into the work—seeing the impact of clear, thoughtful design and strategy.
JoiceMedia offers graphic design, video editing, social media content, and visual branding services. I work closely with clients to create materials that reflect their values, speak to their audience, and present them professionally across platforms. Whether it’s a flyer, a logo, a promo video, or an entire campaign, the goal is always the same: to bring your vision to life with purpose and precision.
What sets JoiceMedia apart is the intentionality behind every project. I don’t just design for design’s sake—I listen, research, and build with meaning. My work is rooted in service, creativity, and helping people feel seen, heard, and well represented.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients for me has been a combination of referrals, social media visibility, and directly reaching out with proposals.
Many of my past clients have recommended me to others, which has created a steady flow of new opportunities.
At the same time, showing up consistently on social media—sharing my work, insights, and creative process—has helped attract people who resonate with my style.
I’ve also gained clients by taking the initiative to send out tailored proposals to individuals or brands I believe I can genuinely support. That mix of visibility, trust, and intentional outreach has worked really well for me.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
There was a season in my journey where I was dealing with serious health challenges that affected my spine and made it difficult to sit or stand for long periods. At the same time, I had client projects to deliver and goals I didn’t want to put on hold.
It was one of the most stretching periods of my life. I had to learn how to manage my time, set boundaries, and still show up with excellence, even when my body wasn’t cooperating.
There were days I worked through pain, but I never let it affect the quality of what I delivered. That season taught me discipline, patience, and how to build systems that support my work even when I’m not at my best.
Looking back, I’m grateful for it. It proved to me that resilience isn’t about pretending to be strong—it’s about finding a way to keep going with wisdom and grace.
