Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Reiona Andrews. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Reiona, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
Funny story! The original name was “Revom” which is mover spelled backwards. After saying it a few times, I did not flow as nice as we had wanted to. When the ‘o’ and ‘e’ were switched around, it was easier to pronounce ‘Rovem’. Thus, this was the creation of Rovem, LLC.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I can say, I was definitely born to be a leader. Throughout my entire schooling career (elementary to grad school), I’ve always been the organized one. Taking the role as the spearhead, I knew how to get things done in the most cost effective way. After completing grad school at Florida State University, I’d moved back home with my dad. As a recent college grad, I was looking for a job in my field (fashion merchandising). Typical New Orleans fashion, my dad knew someone that knew someone that knew someone in fashion. It turns out, she was no longer in the retail field. However. she’d asked me like I like to do, I said “organizing and getting people’s lives together”. She’d directed me to speak with the owner of The Occasional Wife (a local organizing company). I had worked there for a few years, organizing and packing people’s homes and offices. Years later, I had met a guy who turned out to be a love interest. We’d dated for a couple of years until our engagement. Prior to our engagement, he’d seen my dedication to The Occasional Wife and thought I should open my own moving company, since I was basically running hers. Even though it wasn’t an overnight decision, I’d finally accept the fact I was a boss. Thus, Rovem was created.

Have you ever had to pivot?
Of course! When COVID came out, we had to restructure the way we’d move clients. Instead of conducting in-person consultations, we’d offer virtual ones. To this day, we offer virtual consultations for the flexibility and convenience for both parties.

How’d you meet your business partner?
Haha! Well, we were actually in a personal relationship for years, prior to starting Rovem.
