Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Reina Lomenick. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Reina, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I have always loved the power a moment, event, or experience can hold when people come together around a shared interest. That feeling when people who might otherwise be strangers come together and set all differences aside to celebrate, experience, or enjoy a moment led me to discover my love for the energy storytelling generates. I started Headlands Creative Co. to collaborate with others to create content that tells a story and evokes storytelling energy. The heart of my business stems from the root of that feeling and our mission is to empower our clients to impact their audience in profound ways.

Reina, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a creative entrepreneur with a deep love for storytelling. My journey started with a love for visual storytelling through photography and design but now has evolved into aligning my creative skills to help my clients navigate the creative landscape and produce innovative content. What sets Headlands Creative Co. apart is our collaborative approach, the combination of communication and creativity, and our commitment to our client’s aspirations. It brings me so much joy to help creators on their journeys, and I am proud of every project I’ve been a part of from strategy to creativity.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
As a creative entrepreneur, I have experienced a lot of changes as my career has evolved. Each transition, both positive and negative, has taught me a lesson in resilience. The positive transitions have taught me to trust my intuition and grow my confidence, while the negative transitions have revealed things to watch out for and when to walk away. I get my resilience from the lessons life has taught me.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative professional for me lies in the collaboration with my clients to transform ideas into tangible, impactful projects. Each project, from its inception to the execution of creative concepts, becomes a tribute to the shared dedication and the power of storytelling. To be able to contribute to the success of my clients’ visions reinforces my love for meaningful connections and is a source of immense fulfillment.
