Hi Reginald , thanks for joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

I came up with Studio B Media Group after being let go from my radio job. I seen where radio was going and felt like i had a lot left in the tank so made some calls did some research and created Tru Radio in 2018. Tru Radio is based in Palm Beach County and we play hip-hop rnb reggae and afro beats. The station is here to serve Palm Beach and the world due to the fact that we are an internet based radio station.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I have been a Dj since the age of 14 and professionally started at the age of 21. I have been in radio since the age of 27. I have owned 2 marketing companies. I have done it all from tour DJ to wedding DJ. Djing and radio our my passion and i love creating a vibe for people to enjoy.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I’ve built my reputation on being professional and giving the people what they want. Born and raised in Palm Beach i feel like i understand the people and the market like they say if you can DJ in Palm Beach you can DJ anywhere.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I don’t have a back story to this lesson but i have learned that being in business you gotta take emotions out of it and always continue to finds ways to reinvent yourself and your business.
