Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Regina Edwards. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Regina thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
“Ant DivaMo: Unraveling the Legacy of Order, Resilience, and Love”
Life often weaves a complex tapestry of experiences, and within the threads of adversity, stories of resilience, strength, and unwavering love emerge. For me, the legacy story behind the mission intricately ties into my mother’s indomitable spirit, who left me with a profound gift – the gift of order. In the chaotic tapestry of our childhood marked by domestic violence and the sheltering confusion of the church world, my mother’s legacy becomes a beacon of hope, order, and life skills that would serve as our parachutes.
Surviving Disorder:
Growing up in the shadow of domestic violence can cast a long and haunting shadow. My siblings and I found ourselves navigating through the disorder, seeking refuge and understanding amidst the chaos that surrounded us. It was within this tumultuous environment that my mother, with unwavering strength, began instilling the seeds of order in our lives.
The Gift of Order:
My mom’s character became a symphony of order, and I found myself singing her tune, talking her talk, and creating order with every move I made. In the face of adversity, she was our pillar of strength, teaching us that order is found even in the darkest times. It wasn’t just about neatness or organization; it was about creating a sense of stability, predictability, and safety in an otherwise turbulent world.
Life Skills as Parachutes:
As a mother, she was an architect of life skills – skills that would later become our parachutes, guiding us safely through the storms that life would inevitably throw our way. From basic chores to financial literacy, she equipped us with the tools to survive and thrive. Her order wasn’t rigid but adaptable, like a parachute, allowing us to navigate life’s twists and turns with grace and resilience.
The Church World’s Cover:
During our struggles, the church world provided both solace and confusion. The dichotomy between the disorder at home and the perceived order within the church added complexity to our journey. Yet, in these contrasting environments, I learned to appreciate the nuanced nature of order – the difference between a façade and genuine stability.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
In the grand tapestry of my life, relationships weave a narrative that often mirrors the complexities of currency. My perspective of relationships drives the resiliency that paves my journey. Much like money, relationships can shape our experiences, offer growth, and sometimes demand a profound investment of time, effort, and emotions. As I reflect upon the various relationships that have graced my life, I find striking parallels between the dynamics of interpersonal connections and the nuances of financial transactions.
Investments and Returns: Just as one carefully chooses where to invest money, choosing relationships demands similar discernment. Some relationships are like high-yield investments, bringing joy, support, and personal development. These bonds compound over time, growing more substantial and more valuable with each passing day. Conversely, some relationships may resemble risky ventures, draining emotional resources without yielding positive returns. Learning to differentiate between the two is a crucial skill in the currency of relationships.
The Currency of Trust: Trust is the cornerstone of any successful relationship, much like the stability and reliability of a currency earned through consistency, honesty, and mutual understanding. Trust, once established, becomes the medium through which healthy connections flourish, just as a stable currency inspires confidence in financial markets. A foundation of trust is essential for the longevity and prosperity of any relationship.
Inflation and Deflation: The dynamics of relationships are subject to the ebb and flow of emotions akin to the economic forces of inflation and deflation. Just as inflation can devalue currency, the erosion of trust, communication, or shared goals can devalue a relationship. On the flip side, investing time and effort in nurturing a relationship is a hedge against emotional deflation, ensuring the bond remains resilient in the face of challenges.
Diversification: Financial advisors often recommend diversifying investments to mitigate risks. Similarly, diverse relationships contribute to a rich and fulfilling life. Friends, family, romantic partners, and mentors uniquely influence our emotional portfolio. Diversification in relationships ensures a more resilient and well-rounded support system.
Savings and Withdrawals: Just as we save money for a rainy day, investing time and effort in relationships during periods of harmony serves as emotional savings. These reserves become crucial during challenging times, allowing us to withdraw support and comfort when needed. Balancing emotional investments and withdrawals is essential for maintaining a healthy relationship account.
The Price of Experience: Experience often translates into better decision-making in finance. Similarly, the experiences gained through relationships contribute to personal growth and emotional intelligence. Every positive or challenging relationship provides an opportunity to learn and evolve, adding value to our emotional currency.
In conclusion, as I navigate the intricacies of the relationships that have adorned my life, I am reminded of the profound parallels between the currency of the heart and that of the wallet. Both demand careful consideration, strategic investment, and understanding of the risks involved. By approaching relationships with the same intentionality and mindfulness as financial transactions, we cultivate a wealth of emotional well-being and fulfillment that transcends mere currency. Ultimately, the richness of my relationships defines the true wealth of my life.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
In a world constantly evolving, change has become the only constant. Amidst the challenges and opportunities, individuals have the power to shape the future, acting as change agents to drive positive transformations. Whether on a global scale or within local communities, being a change agent means taking proactive steps to create a lasting impact. Embracing this role helped build my reputation in the market. It was imperative to understand my role as a change agent because it is not uncommon for people to resist change. A change agent is an individual or group working to bring about positive environmental change. This role involves identifying areas that require improvement, fostering innovation, and influencing others to pursue a common goal. Change agents possess a vision for a better future and the determination to turn that vision into reality.
I use my inherent characteristics as a change agent and a transformer in the market to foster creating routines, practices, and methods for developing solid and transferable organizational skills.
As a visionary, change agents drive clarity in vision. I inspire others through their passion and commitment to make a difference. People are motivated to work towards specific goals and objectives by highlighting purpose. The world is dynamic, and change agents must be adaptable, embrace uncertainty, and view challenges as opportunities for growth. I use encouragement to open new ideas and perspectives, which enables me to navigate complex situations with resilience. Communication is at the heart of any successful change initiative. Again, I reiterate the importance of articulating vision, goals, and strategies in a way that resonates with others. This builds a sense of shared purpose, fostering collaboration and cooperation. Understanding the needs and concerns of others is crucial for a change agent. Empathy allows them to connect with diverse stakeholders, building trust and fostering a sense of inclusivity in the change process.
Finally, I use courage and resilience in adversity, even when faced with resistance. We persevere through challenges, learning from setbacks and using them as opportunities to refine one’s approach. Individuals contribute to creating a world that reflects their values and aspirations by actively engaging in positive change. In the ever-evolving landscape of our global society, change agents play a vital role in shaping future generations and establishing a firm reputation in the market.
