Hello, I’m Reginald Gustave, and I’m thrilled to share the story of how my business came to fruition. The journey began with a burning desire to address the lack of a safe space for young men of color. Witnessing the unique challenges they faced, I felt compelled to create an environment that offered mentorship, coaching, college prep opportunities, and a sense of community. As an African American male, I recognized the urgent need for representation in high schools and on college campuses.

Reggie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

The idea for my business emerged from a blend of personal experiences and a broader societal observation. Growing up, I faced my own set of challenges, and my path through higher education highlighted the absence of adequate representation. This realization, coupled with my college degree in marketing, led me to envision a business that could bridge the gap and provide tangible support to underserved people of color.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

The context was rich with emotions as I vividly recalled the struggles I and many others faced in finding relatable role models. The logic behind my venture was rooted in the belief that representation matters it can shape aspirations and redefine notions of success. I wanted to offer a unique approach, challenging conventional narratives propagated by mainstream media, particularly in sports and entertainment.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I take pride in being a catalyst for change, helping individuals realize diverse paths to success. What sets me apart is not just the services I offer but the commitment to breaking down societal barriers and fostering a sense of possibility. I’m most proud of the organic growth my business experienced – a testament to the genuine impact it has on the lives of those I serve.
