We were lucky to catch up with Reggie George recently and have shared our conversation below.

Reggie, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

I was inspired by tragedy and pain. One of my twin daughters was stabbed in the head w/scissors by a 15 yr old boy at school. Going through her brain surgeries, rehab, therapy, and suppressing the urge for revenge… aloud me to realize how much I appreciated the gift of bring a FATHER FIGURE.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am Reggie George, founder/Creator of The Father Figure Movement, Father Figure APPAREL, and The F2 Father Figure Podcast. I started “The Movement” as a result of one of my twins daughters being stabbed in the head w/a pair of scissors at school; by a young man who lacked the guidance of a FATHER FIGURE. Therefore, I decided instead of complaining about the problem, I would create MY ATTEMPT at solving the issue.

The Movement and Brand is about Empowering and Uplifting those who are active and Encouraging those who are not (for whatever reason). Also, we provide leadership and Mentorship to bridge the gap for those who still may be without a Father Figure.

Father Figure APPAREL www.f2apparel.store is a “LIFESTYLE Brand” meant to provide Everyday APPAREL for PROUD Fathers and Father Figures.

The F2 Father Figure Podcast (YouTube) is meant to provide a Platform to examine ALL aspects of being a FATHER/FATHER FIGURE.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

Yes. Our mission is to change the narrative around being a FATHER FIGURE. Not just biological Fathers, but Men who are PRESENT and ACTIVE in homes, communities, schools, etc.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding thing is DEFINITELY the support! Especially our Female supporters, it’s VERY encouraging to see how our WOMEN back The Movement and its efforts. Women are our #1 customers in supporting Father Figure APPAREL and our Podcast.
