We were lucky to catch up with Reese Cartier recently and have shared our conversation below.
Reese, appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Reese and Company started from a idea I had after previously running a old cleaning business that I had to part ways with . I started off as a House Keeper who really didn’t like cleaning for others at certain jobs . I felt that being told how to clean wasn’t going to feel a void in the cleaning hospitality of things . Running my own company gives me the freedom of taking my time when it comes to cleaning clients homes or businesses, I’m not told how to clean a certain way even if I feel there’s a better way of doing such thing . I also have the freedom to actually play the CEO role of handling the business side of the company . I also started this business because after the huge virus that hit us it made me look at the safety of cleaning in a whole different perspective and how I can feel a void of helping people and saving their lives by providing a high level of cleaning services .
Reese, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Reese Cartier Owner of Reese and Company and a few other Businesses. Reese and Company is a Residential and commercial High Level cleaning company that also has a Home essentials E-commerce website provided to our customers and clients . We provide services on many levels , I didn’t really want just a ordinary cleaning business I wanted to cater to the MASSES on many levels , I feel the world is diverse enough to understand and embody diversity within a business so this is why we provide our online Home Essentials E-commerce.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
Funding my cleaning business came from experience from running other businesses I’ve started or once had . Ive solely invested into Reese And Company out of my own pockets . I would advise anyone who’s starting their own business to try funding it on their own before going to get a big loan , reason being is because for me you’ll learn your own process in the making of growing your business at your own pace .
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
To be honest I would say MARKETING ! MARKETING ! MARKETING ! I learned the formula of gorilla marketing . It’s so many outlets to help you get your brand to the world from Yelp , online Marketing , Paid AD’s and ect .
