Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Reece Palamar. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Reece, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
Quitting my first brand was a big risk for me but I had to do it after my first week with my second one. I created a separate gaming and film brand around the OG’s of youtube and their style of content. I used that to grow my first brand. But after the success of my ReeceIsRandom brand in its first week. I decided it was time to make a change, especially after achieving 100k followers in just 10 days.
Reece, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I originally went to school for filmmaking. My journey started at Valencia college before doing about a year of studying at UCF. However, I did not enjoy college and after 3 years I had my fill. I left school behind and went my own creative way. I started creating super crappy youtube videos before getting into short-form content on tiktok. Which resulted in my garnering over 1.2 million followers with ReeceIsRandom
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to learn as much as I can about social media. Then, I can leverage the opportunities I get online and use it to create my own films shortly.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Warm outreach from the success of my videos online.
