We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Recondo King. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Recondo below.
Alright, Recondo thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
I’ve been singing ever since I was a child and use to mimic my favorite artist and the sounds they made . Back in 2020 I took a lot of time to understand the physical techniques singers would use to produce the sounds they made And the type of resonance placements they would use to make certain singing styles easier and less strenuous

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Kyle king or better known kingklegacy aka Recondo I grew up with a love for music listening to whatever my parents played and eventually growing into my own genres of music . I started singing around a young age and initially it was something it was just something I would do . I eventually grew a greater passion for the art and started to grow interest in the technical side of things and even started to write my own music .The type of music I make is old school styled R&b and a hint of pop it’s a genre that I’ve always loved and feel that it’s kind of lacking in the r&b category these days so I plan on bringing it back to the forefront and making it even better ! I think something I am most proud of would be my recent project because I got the opportunity to write and create a full body of work on my own and got to explore many different sounds and just how diverse I could be when writing . I think if there was something I’d want people to know it would be that music is an art and should be expressed in that way it shouldn’t be something done for monetary gain or fame but because you have a love for the art

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
Give as many people an opportunity to share their music to the world instead of just going with what’s trendy

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The joy I feel when I’ve written a complete song and get to hear what I created
