We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Reco Maivia a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Reco, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

I want to change the world through effective investments and creativity. Coming from a music back ground I have always had to be creative from the ways I used instrumentation to problem solving.

Since a child, I have not only seen the potential in myself but also the potential in other people. I like bringing out the potential in others and showing them things are possible if they put the work in and believe in themselves.

Reco, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Reco Maivia and I am an entrepreneur that transacts in music industry, professional services, and investments.

I started in the music industry as an artist and gradually expanded into different roles overtime due to lack of resources. When I didnt have a producer I became the producer and so forth. Eventually, the path led to me starting my own label after testing management for a few years.

I currently provide distribution services, recording contracts, and publishing contracts through my label Pallas Records.

I’m most proud of the journey. I started with no name and no backing behind me and grdually worked my way into becoming a multi-platinum manager and engineer actually. I remember when I would see people I worked with getting their recognition and I was dying to get a plaque. Fast forward a few years and now I have several for more conributions.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Referrals. I’m always looking for the next opportunity to bring something new to the world.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Being consistent, sticking to my word, and most importanly doing clean business.
