REC , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
The most meaningful project we’ve worked on was the launch of our Live Recorded Music series, Sessions, in November 2024, featuring the Atlanta Acid Jazz duo Arkose and their live band. This series was an evolution of our Black Music Month showcase, where we had previously highlighted five talented local artists from the Atlanta area. We took the foundation of that showcase and elevated it for Sessions, recording three of Arkose’s standout songs and sharing their unique journey through a podcast.
This project was particularly meaningful because it gave us the opportunity to celebrate and support local talent while also capturing and sharing the stories behind the music. It allowed us to showcase the technical and logistical capabilities of REC LIVE!, from production to storytelling, while providing a platform for Arkose to shine. Working with Arkose was a truly rewarding experience—they brought incredible energy and positive vibes to our venue, making the entire project not only enjoyable but also impactful. It helped foster a deeper connection between the artists and the audience, creating lasting memories and highlighting the power of music in bringing people together.

REC LIVE! was founded by a passionate group of creators with a shared vision: to provide a platform for local artists to showcase their talents and connect with the community. We operate as a division of the Riverside EpiCenter in Austell, GA, a versatile and state-of-the-art venue that features a Soundstage Theatre, a fully equipped podcast room, a bowling alley, an arcade, and flexible spaces designed to accommodate a wide range of events. Our unique combination of creative and entertainment spaces makes REC LIVE! a one-of-a-kind destination for both artists and audiences alike.
At REC LIVE!, we offer a variety of services that support local talent and foster creative collaboration. We host live music events, performances, podcasts, and more. We provide artists with the technical resources, logistical support, and exposure they need to grow their craft. Additionally, our venue is equipped to host diverse events, from intimate performances to large-scale productions, making us a versatile choice for any creative project.
