Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rebekah Scogin. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Rebekah thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you share a customer success story with us?
With my music students my years of experience enable me to quickly access a student’s desire, and potential talents to enable they themselves to access music.. I delight seeing them discover in their delight that “yes they can do it.” I believe music is a healer.. it’s like music itself is love
But also order and science in pure simplicity. The simple and efficient the learning process the faster the student absorbs sweet success. And fine results. Delight ensures success . Rt now I have a young student with severe ADHD who loves accordion. His mother said life -school -kids -sports – etc is hard for him. He rejects it all except for the accordion.

Rebekah, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I feel music chose me. I could play by ear the accordion at age 6. My older sister however instilled the importance of training.. Talent to me is nothing without training. You must know -at least attempt to know -what it is you don’t know. Achieving excellence is not personal just a process of Desire.and Determination. And again keep the process simple.. I hold myself to this but not necessarily students. Having fun has to be what captures their heart.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
A simple desire that I want each student to succeed – parents can see that I have that calling.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Getting my grad degree in piano performance. I had to memorize 1.5 hours of memorized Chopin Bach Beethoven Debussy performing live before a critical -open to the public -performance. . I couldn’t see me doing that. But my Piano Professor taught me the process if vetting myself: teaching training my mind to focus in the moment while performing live and recover quickly if a mistake is made NOT collapsing. Plus practicing 3-4 hours daily. The take away result is that MY GREATEST FEAR BECOMES MY GREATEST STRENGTH.
