We recently connected with Rebecca Rios and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Rebecca thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
I hope to build a legacy defined by kindness, authenticity, and a passion for my craft. I want people to remember me as someone who genuinely cared about fostering meaningful relationships, empowering others, and making a positive impact in every space I entered.
Professionally, I hope to be remembered for my dedication, creativity, and commitment to excellence. Whether through my journey with photography or other endeavors, I want my efforts to inspire others to see the value in storytelling, teamwork, and perseverance.
On a personal level, I hope people will say I was empathetic, dependable, and a source of encouragement. Ultimately, I want to be remembered as someone who left things better than I found them.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a creative professional with a background in athletics communications, photography, and digital storytelling. My journey into this industry began with a love for sports and the stories behind the athletes. Previously, I worked as the Director of Athletics Communications at Flagler College, where I discovered the immense power of combining visuals, words, and strategy to connect with audiences and celebrate achievements.
I now specialize in both sports and lifestyle photography, social media management, and content creation. My services include capturing high-quality images and crafting compelling social media videos. Whether it’s documenting a team’s journey, capturing special moments, or supporting a brand’s voice, I strive to bring stories to life in a way that informs, inspires, and connects.
What sets me apart is my meticulous attention to detail, ability to adapt under tight deadlines, and genuine passion for creating meaningful work. I pride myself on being a collaborative and results-driven professional, always aiming to exceed expectations while staying true to my unique vision of each project.
One of my proudest achievements was leading the creative direction for Flagler College Athletics, where I managed social media for 19 NCAA Division II teams and mentored interns who went on to achieve great things in their own careers. Seeing the impact of my work, both in the growth of the programs and in the confidence of the people I mentored, has been incredibly rewarding.
For potential clients and followers, my goal is to be a trusted partner who listens to your story, understands your needs, and delivers creative solutions. I’m passionate about what I do, and I’m excited to collaborate with others who value creativity, authenticity, and meaningful connections.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Absolutely! The driving mission behind my creative journey is to tell stories through my photos that can last a lifetime. I feel honored every time I am asked to document a special moment in someone’s life, knowing that these will be the pictures that they share with their friends and families to look back on years to come.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the opportunity to connect with people on a deeper level and make a lasting impact through my work. Whether it’s capturing a powerful moment in a photograph or creating content that evokes emotion and foster connection is incredibly fulfilling.
