Alright, Rayunna thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?
I am deeply passionate about entrepreneurship, though I recognize that it comes with both its pros and cons. While I personally would not consider a traditional job unless required, I understand the appeal of a stable guaranteed income. There’s no shame in working a 9-to-5; in fact, many successful individuals generate multiple streams of income. However, doing so requires dedication, discipline, and careful decision-making.
Rayunna, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My first business is my hair company “Rayunnajanae Wigbar” that has been in business since 2017. Hair has always been a BIG statement in my culture for years I’ve always been the go2 hairstylist in my family, I’ve built my brand off of creativity, love, and support. Now i have one of the TOP luxury hair brands located in Las Vegas, NV we offer HD wigs, Mink Brazilian bundle deals, Hair Accessories+ MORE!
Iam most proud of my ambition the trails and errors is what built me into the person iam today Iam hands on with everything I package orders, creative direction, marketing, graphic designing etc.
Once I realized my creativity impacted so many people I curated my second business “BossBabe University” I help small businesses with social media marketing, product development, creative direction and so much more.
Iam currently working on my third business “Vibrant Vending” which is a local convenience provider we have drinks, snacks, & fresh food machines servicing Las Vegas,NV and Sacramento,CA surrounding areas.
The power of entrepreneurship is much bigger than just obtaining an LLC, I love putting the battery in anybody who’s around me back to go harder reminding them “YOU ARE YOUR HABITS”…. Your mind will always believe everything you tell it feed it faith, feed it truth, feed it love.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I’ve built my audience on social media by just being authentic and teachable, your target audience want to engage with someone who they can not only relate to, but can also learn from most importantly BE YOU.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I had to unlearn is the main people that you expect/think to support you will not! And that’s absolutely ok your biggest supporters will come from strangers and that’s going to motivate you to go 10x harder people you don’t even know, never met or seen a day in your life believe in you and support YOUR brand.
