Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Raynissa Sauls. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Raynissa, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

I personally believe it takes dedication and a dream to be successful. I feel some people believe that becoming a business owner is easier than working for someone. But honestly, I believe that it’s more challenging to be your own boss. Every aspect of that business is handled and sorted out by yourself. Of course if you have a team, that’s a different story. But when you’re starting off most of the time, it’s a one-woman business. But staying dedicated and focused on your dream is what creates a successful business and career.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Raynissa. But my clients know me by Ray. I am the owner and operator of revive eyelash extension. LLC. I have been in business going on 7 years. My business started off as a dream and a way to make it through college. I am a mother of three and a wife. So I needed the flexible career that allowed me to be with my family. So after experiencing eyelashes extensions for myself. I knew that this was a business that I wanted to be in. I called my husband and I let him know that I was quitting my job and that I was going to use all of our savings to start my business. And I did exactly that. And here I am seven years later I own my own suite. And I am Moving towards opening my own storefront.

I love making women feel beautiful. I love being able to create a wonderful space for people to feel comfortable and relax while venting, or sleeping.

I am overwhelmingly proud of how far I have come. For the people that have been with me through the last seven years they know I literally started in my dining room. So to be at a point where I finally created a beautiful space for me and them- it’s my most proudest moments as a business owner thus far.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I believe that my consistency and my determination to be the best in my field created a space for people to trust me and my craft. I had a vision of what I wanted my work to look like. And I stayed consistent to make that dream a reality. I never turned a client away. Every client was another chance for me to master my craft. I offered many referral incentives for clients and returning clients. And today I am so proud to say that each month I have the same reoccurring clients that I have had year after year. Thank you all.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

Professionalism. I believe that my professionalism and my knowledge of my skill built trust in my clients. Having trust is the main component. And when you trust someone your client is willing to share their experience with their friends and family. Good word travels
