We recently connected with Rayna Rokicki and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Rayna, thanks for joining us today. We believe kindness is contagious and so we’d love for you to share with us and our audience about the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
The Magic of Women Supporting Women
There’s something magical about the way women build networks—lifting each other up, celebrating achievements, and creating space for collaboration.
Last fall, I experienced this magic firsthand when Jess Lambrecht, someone I deeply admire for her work in women’s leadership, nominated me for an Athena Award. She recognized my efforts to elevate women’s stories on You Betcha She Did!—and it was a complete surprise that absolutely filled my bucket.
While I didn’t win, being nominated alongside incredible women changemakers was both validating and inspiring. It reminded me why I do this work: to help women be SEEN and HEARD in the digital space.
Since starting this journey in 2021, I’ve witnessed countless examples of women lifting each other up—offering shout-outs, creating opportunities to collaborate, and celebrating each other’s successes. It’s this energy that keeps me going and fuels my passion for amplifying women’s voices.

Rayna, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi, I’m Rayna Rokicki and I am a Podcast Growth Coach. I specialize in helping entrepreneurs to skyrocket their businesses through podcasting. I work with entrepreneurs to establish themselves as industry experts and monetize their shows without relying on sponsors. My expertise lies in crafting podcast strategies that not only attract eager clients, but also open doors to coveted speaking opportunities.
Since 2020, I have been a driving force in the podcasting world, serving as a Podcast and YouTube Producer dedicated to amplifying the voices of ambitious entrepreneurs, with a special focus on women. In 2024, I pivoted to podcast growth coaching after numerous clients sought me out for these services and I haven’t looked back. Podcast Growth Coaching has allowed me to utilize my zones of genius in strategic planning and data analysis. In addition to helping clients grow their business with a podcast.
I also host two compelling podcasts: “Podcast Growth Club,” which provides insights on leveraging podcasts for business growth, and “You Betcha She Did,” offering invaluable business tips for trailblazing women entrepreneurs with a Midwest twist.
When I am not analyzing podcasts, I can be found practicing my aerial dance moves, enjoying cold dips in Wisconsin lakes, and going on adventures with my family.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Like many out there, especially women, I am a recovering perfectionist. I have always strived to be top of the class, the best, the brightest – do you notice a competitive streak there. However, diving into the entrepreneurial world, especially as a podcast producer, coach and host, I have had to throw perfectionism out the door.
Just like entrepreneurialism, there is no clear road in podcasting. Its all about experimenting, failing, learning and trying again. It it not for the faint of heart. I don’t like to fail and I have had to fail time and again as I found out what works and what doesn’t work. Through this process I have grown a stronger backbone and more resilient and I KNOW I am better for it.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Consistency and playing the long game as helped build my reputation within the market. I think too many of us are stuck in a world of instant gratification and both podcasting and entrepreneurial businesses are built slowly over time by showing up week by week, defining your values, being available to your audience and not being afraid to pivot when needed. There were several times I thought about pausing or ending my podcast You Betcha She Did but I am so glad I have not. Over 3 years I have built a community of women supporting one another, I have become an ambassador of a women’s leadership conference, I have been asked to speak at multiple events and now present at conferences on podcasting. This work does pay off, but you need to keep showing up.
