We recently connected with Rayn Forest and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Rayn , thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
To be honest, I answered the call from my Ancestors, Spirit Guides and Los Muertos (The Dead) that I honor and serve, at the age of 17. As far back as I can remember I always had a keen understanding about death. My Bisabuela ( Great Grandmother) taught me Los Muertos should be honored and respected, there was no need to be afraid and I wasn’t. It’s in my Taíno Arawak Indian & African bloodline to honor and celebrate the lives of deceased loved ones as they transition from this life to another.

Rayn , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Mediumship readings for our deceased loved ones and our beloved pet companions. What I’m most proud of is that I answered the calling from my Ancestors. I would always say that I’m truly following my life’s mission in this life cycle. I also would say what sets me apart from others I was blessed with gifts and talents giving to by my Ancestors, and I’m carrying out my family’s legacy.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Death is a very difficult topic for people to discuss. Most people have very different time processing their feelings and emotions. Death is still a very taboo topic. Most people don’t even know our Ancestors would perform home funerals services, this is not a new. I follow they teaching of my Ancestors, by washing and dressing the deceased, playing music, lighting candles, and telling stories about the departed. The services I provide, it’s extremely sacred and the family can assist if they would like to.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my audience on social media honestly by, providing information about end of life care, pushing the death positive movement, adding humor and being myself and also humble and honest.
