We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ray Vaughn. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ray below.
Ray, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I’ve know my desire to be an artist when I was a child singing in church! One vivid experience that I remember is when I was in college. I accepted a full vocal music scholarship to Mississippi Valley State University. When it came time to my junior year, I was exhausted from the thought of music theory. I had a desire to perform and that’s when it began.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

His interest became unbearable in learning just how far he could go with his phenomenal voice. After graduating high school, he received a 4 year choir scholarship to Mississippi Valley State University. He was a part of the chamber classical, a capella, gospel and concert choir. With the understanding of how great his range truly is, RayVaughn believes that not even the sky is a limit. He knows that one day he will become a legendary artist.
RayVaughn departed from Mississippi and joined the Dallas Police Department in February of 2008. RayVaughn has been able to balance protecting/serving the world with pursuing his dreams as an artist.
