We recently connected with Ravon Hernandez and have shared our conversation below.

Ravon, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Folks often look at a successful business and imagine it was an overnight success, but from what we’ve seen this is often far from the truth. We’d love to hear your scaling up story – walk us through how you grew over time – what were some of the big things you had to do to grow and what was that scaling up journey like?

The secret to any successful business is to do exactly what you love & learn the laws of discipline. Not saying that it will work out the first time there are times where I wanted to give up and throw the whole ideal of being an entrepreneur away due to the lack of understanding the journey . I have failed many times , I’ve lacked support from close family / friends , I’ve overspent on marketing / products , I’ve sold myself short many times during the early process , not to mention the irritation from putting more in than what I was receiving. I am pretty sure many others who are successful/ stable would agree that being an entrepreneur isn’t easy at all , but it’s a risk that we take which shows our strength and courage to step out of the norm ; I did just that . For the individuals who are looking to start a small business there are simple things that you can do to help you along the way . First you want to get a deeper understanding of who you are as an individual ‘ what brings you passion / excitement & what drains you ‘ it will help you find your hidden talents your Niche . Secondly set goals in your day to day life that you can do to incorporate into your business idea for an example ‘ wake up earlier than you normally do so you will have time to nurture your idea ‘ . Thirdly register your business it’s very important if you’re looking for funding or investors . After you’ve completed the Three main ‘ must haves ‘ it’s time to put your creativity to work , analyze the way you want it to look , find your targeted audiences / like minded individuals, don’t be afraid to ask for help ( your ego has no place here we all fail at that one) , & be confidant in you.

My Name is Ravon Hernandez , The Founder of AmiracleEyes Lashes & Cosmetics. AmiracleEyes Lashes & Cosmetics started to make waves in the beauty industry in 2022 ; but was intentionally built up in 2019. As most are aware I am a makeup artist that specializes most in ” The Natural No Make-up” Looks , which help me expand into creating a Brand allowing me to build up clientele to a business with loyal customers. We provide a range of false lashes , cosmetic products from lip liners to actually makeup services for all genders of course . AmiracleEyes is not only a business but it also provides other services for women who needs an extra push for motivation. The best part of being an individual like myself with an open mind yet with full ambition I’ve found a way that I can add not just 1 passion but 2 together that helps in a physical way but emotionally as well .

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?

Is there any resources that has contributed to my growth as a entrepreneur / Business owner….. Absolutely we all get Inspired somewhere right ?! There is an amazing book called ” Blind Ambition ” it’s about a young women who had her life planned out from middle school to her years of graduation for college ( I know what you’re thinking No Way , but YES ) that was just how her parents molded her to be. She was a swimmer the best to say during one of her races she began to loose her eyesight as years go by she goes completely blind ; but during her tragic situation of not being able to see she pushed her self everyday to be greater she was the day before . She has accomplished so much by her not limiting herself. As for a woman like myself her book definitely helped when feeling discouraged .

There is this one individual that I would consider an ‘ Alpha Male ‘ that were apart of my journey to help me grow into my potential higher self. His presence & conversations prepared me for the next milestone in a positive way ; to understand where he has started in his career & to see how his ambition , courage to take risk pushed him to travel the world & be open to new opportunities .

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

One of the lessons that I had to unlearn is not everyone is supposed to walk with you on this journey. Some people are here for a season everyone has a season in your life when it’s time to upgrades in life sadly not all is equipped for the next level due to the comfort of not expanding for themselves.
