We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rashod Stanley. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rashod below.
Alright, Rashod thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. One deeply underappreciated facet of entrepreneurship is the kind of crazy stuff we have to deal with as business owners. Sometimes it’s crazy positive sometimes it’s crazy negative, but crazy experiences unite entrepreneurs regardless of industry. Can you share a crazy story with our readers?
During the course of me trying to rehabilitate myself by doing something constrictive with my time, I was sentenced to 9 months in solitary confinement for a making clothes for other offenders and curating a fashion show, I have been in prison 6 years and have witnessed offenders stabbing others offenders and receive less time in solitary confinement or none at all.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Being original and staying consistent , I haven’t gotten as big as I would like in my industry but what has helped me scale my business is staying consistent and not giving up. I had alot of people tell me just wait till I get out off prison to start back doing clothes, had I listened to them I wouldn’t be as far as I am now, another key is knowing your intended customer and making items that give them value.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Biuld with people who have common goals and treat people the way you want to be treated.
