Rasheed , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
When I was like 20 I was out of high school at this time and I had set up a show my self to perform live after that show I knew I wanted to be a rapper for full-time because the engagement with the ppl was so turnt up
Rasheed , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Boobie Blood is an extremely talented and versatile hip-hop artist, Who hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota I started rapping at the age of 12 with major influences from dipset, jay z, Cash money Boyz and even Twsiata,I learned a lot of discipline when I went to prison for second-degree assault I had to do 3 years so I had a lot of time to think Kuz I stayed in fights so I was in the solitary confinement a lot, and I’m a freestyle artist so I just started rapping a lot we use to have battles behind are doors locked in our rooms yelling through the doors rapping, once I got out I hit the streets with
mixtapes and built a brand called wyldlyfe music group, and I provide things for my artist like a label would do me studiotime, promo, I buy them beats and etc we building a Legacy overhere, Was sent me apart from others as my drive and determination to actually make it, I built my own label all by myself independently no help at all so that’s what set me aside from everybody else. I’m a one man.show, i’m currently signing Bentley Records, on the distribution deal, and I’m running my wyldlyfe music group to the top
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
They just gotta get out and engage with the artist but things from the artist that u like or support really spread the word on your favorite artist go on his or her website leave comments, Biden Mertz
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The timing I could do as I please when I please, without it interrupted anything. That I have going on for the day or month
