Rashandra , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
I wanted my boutique to represent me, therefore I came up with name “One Cute Dimple Boutique” , because of my unique one dimple and thought to myself, this is a personal touch. To add a little pizazz to the name I added “Cute” because I envisioned my boutique as a small, quaint, stylish and cute space.

One Cute Dimple Boutique is set apart from other boutiques, because I offer a boutique experience unlike any other boutique that I know of. I designed my store as more than a place to shop–it’s a destination and by appointment only. Customers that normally turn into clients enjoy a private shopping experience, often with a bubbly drink in hand, as they browse through curated selections of stylish, classic pieces. One Cute Dimple Boutique combines retail therapy with a feel-good, fun atmosphere, often set to the tunes of a customer’s favorite artist, creating an experience that engages all the senses.

The opening of One Cute Dimple Boutique was a leap of faith. I have embraced the challenges and triumphs of entrepreneurship with confidence and resilience. (It’s not easy, breezy being an entrepreneur) I have learned to trust my instincts, remain authentic to my vision, and to stay connected with my customers. The success of my boutique comes not just from the fashionable pieces offered but also from the relationships built with clientele. My journey is more than about selling clothes and accessories–it’s about fostering a community and creating a space that brings people together. It’s also about building confidence.

Please allow me to share the story of overcoming my fear and shyness to open my dream..One Cute Dimple Boutique. I noticed how I was always pushing everyone else to pursue their dream and my bff…which happens to be my wife stopped me with a question of “When are you going to move forward with your dream?” I remember this question like it was yesterday. I had already started purchasing inventory for my boutique in mind, but I was stuck..due to all of my WHAT IFS!! My wife brought the news to me one day that she had did her research and found me a nice space. I was skeptical and once again..afraid. I took a look at the space and immediately I fell in love with it!! It was very cutesy and the small size that I imagined. The next thing you know, I was applying for the space…followed by receiving my keys. Still hesitant..I sat on the space for 2 months..paying for an unused space. Yeah, dumb I know. I finally adjusted my crown, made a couple of phone calls and got to decorating my quaint little space, next I was having my grand opening that had me saying WOW & to this day since 2022..I am still saying WOW & I overcame my fear…this is my resilience and I love making my customers that have turned into clients feel brand new when they leave One Cute Dimple Boutique!
