Hi Raquel, thanks for joining us today. Being a business owner can be really hard sometimes. It’s rewarding, but most business owners we’ve spoken sometimes think about what it would have been like to have had a regular job instead. Have you ever wondered that yourself? Maybe you can talk to us about a time when you felt this way?

While owning and running a business certainly has it’s ups and downs, I wouldn’t change my path for the world. Before I started my Astrology practice, I struggled to find jobs that were in alignment with my true calling in life. I continually felt like something was missing and never felt satisfied on a deep soul level. Once I had my a-ha moment and started to pursue entrepreneurship doing what I love, it’s as if the entire world opened up to me. I immediately started to experience a new level of personal and creative freedom. I’m challenged in new ways that invite me into growth and opportunity. Being a business owner, for me, is a constant work of art and there’s always more to do. In moments of stress I sometimes wonder what life would be like in a 9-5, but I quickly remember how rewarding my Astrology practice is, for myself and others. The ability to remember why I started and stay in touch with my purpose is what keeps me going strong. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been since I became a business owner and when I reflect, I realize that’s what life is all about- being happy and sharing it with others.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I’m an Astrologer & Mentor for those who want to create authentic success while stepping fully into their personal powers. I facilitate potent transformation and growth through energetics, psychological astrology, Tarot, and heart-felt strategies that are uniquely designed for every person I work with.

I’ve worked in the field of Astrology & Personal Development for 8 years. I’ve helped others break subconscious patterns, align with their purpose, heal deep wounds, and embrace their gifts so they can live in bliss and abundance. I’ve been witness to hundreds of breakthroughs and many magical moments during my time as a practicing Astrologer, Reader & Mentor.

I have the gift of discernment (Virgo!) and I can easily locate blockages and opportunities. I hold a mirror to people’s experiences so they can see themselves for the radiant, audacious, and powerful people they are.

I’m most proud of being able to help people live their dream lives. It’s important for me that others feel seen, supported, and held when working with me. My goal is to create a safe and sacred space for expansion.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

Growing up, I didn’t have the same structure and opportunities as other kids. We moved around a lot and things were often tumultuous at home. I never knew what was coming next and felt a lot of fear. As an adult, this manifested into self-doubt and a lack of confidence. I thought that life was always going to deal me a difficult hand and that I would experience eternal struggle. I had to unlearn the idea that my journey would always be hard and full of unhappiness. Reprogramming my self-beliefs required me to find my personal power and activate it. By doing so, I was able to finally trust myself. I realized that I can rely on myself to succeed and that brought so much joy. Self-love and self-care is my medicine.

How did you build your audience on social media?

I built my audience through giving. If you come from a place of giving, you will always be able to grow your audience and following. What I learned is that people want to receive and they’re looking for value… so share generously. Give your audience content and information they can benefit from. Give solutions to their problems. Showcase your gifts, knowledge, and offerings in a way that helps others. Create exciting reasons for people to come back to your page over and over again. People also respond really well to seeing your face and hearing your voice… so don’t be afraid to really put yourself out there on social media. I used to be extremely camera shy, but once I stated making videos and posting photos of myself, my following grew exponentially. I would pretend I was talking to my best friend when I recorded videos and wrote captions, and that took so much pressure off. This little trick helped me get into an organic flow where I was being my authentic self. Authenticity sells.
