We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful RAPHAELLA DAWSON. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with RAPHAELLA below.
Hi RAPHAELLA, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
Starting my jewelry business was a big risk, but it was one I felt deeply passionate about. As a 33-year-old mother of two, I knew I would be juggling a lot—family responsibilities, financial considerations, and the uncertainty of entrepreneurship. But I also saw an opportunity to create something meaningful, not just for myself but for my children—to show them that dreams are worth chasing.
The biggest challenge was stepping into the unknown, but I’m focusing on taking calculated steps. I researched the market, tested designs, and built my brand with intention. There were moments of doubt, but I reminded myself that every business owner faces obstacles. What kept me going was my belief in my vision and the desire to build something that offers both creative fulfillment and financial independence.
Looking back, I’m so glad I’m taking the leap. It’s not just about selling jewelry—it’s about creating something beautiful and meaningful while showing my kids that taking risks and following your passion is worth it.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
About Me & My Business
I am a certified yoga instructor and a passionate entrepreneur embarking on an exciting journey to launch my own jewelry brand. With a deep love for mindfulness, balance, and self-expression, I have always sought ways to bring beauty and meaning into everyday life. My background in yoga has taught me the importance of intentionality, resilience, and the power of connection—values that I infuse into every piece of jewelry I create.
My Jewelry Brand
My brand is more than just accessories; it is a reflection of self-expression, empowerment, and mindfulness. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to inspire confidence, inner peace, and individuality. Drawing inspiration from nature, spiritual symbolism, and holistic well-being, my jewelry aims to be both beautiful and meaningful.
As a mother of two, I understand the importance of balance and finding time for creativity while managing life’s responsibilities. My journey into entrepreneurship is fueled by a desire to build something that aligns with my passion and allows me to create a legacy for my family.
I am excited to share my vision and bring my designs to life. This is just the beginning, and I look forward to connecting with others who appreciate artistry, intention, and the beauty of handcrafted jewelry.
