We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Raphael Weisman. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Raphael below.
Raphael, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
My parents were very simple folks. They loved the outdoors, nature, hiking, swimming and sports and when I was a kid they often took me with them wherever they went. This wasn’t just because I was the youngest and in when I was growing up, we never had babysitters. So I walked a lot with my Dad. We never had a car. We walked or took buses everywhere. But he would also take me to the woods. I grew up in Capetown, South Africa at the foot of Table Mountain, a beautiful area with streams and huge pine trees. We would collect the pine cones and sit on the sidewalk with a rock cracking open the thick-skinned pine nuts. I harvested pomegranates and figs an loquats from local trees. My Dad taught me about many foods you could find in the vacant lots and the woods. My Mom loved music and had learned the piano as a child. She played by ear on our upright piano. I remember her playing songs of The Beatles when I was a kid. The other thing about my parents was that they never owed anyone a penny. No credit cards and all that. They were impeccably honest. In those days, your word was binding and people recognized my parents for their honesty and integrity. My early life growing up in a small city surrounded by nature, and my parents’ influence provided the foundation for a healthy lifestyle, positive attitudes and an intense search for truth and wisdom that inform my life, work and teaching, which is reflected in my book “The Path of the Spiritual Warrior”, guidelines for a healthy and happy life. The disciplines and practices from the Guides who channeled th ebook are the ones I live by now and promote for the New Earth.

Raphael, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
So, I started my adult career as a maker of Early Renaissance and Baroque musical instruments. I studied this at the London College of Furniture, now called London University, I believe. I attended the first program on Early Fretted Instrument making. My BA in English Literature with seconds in Philosophy and Music from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem laid the foundation for this. Shakespeare, Music History and exposure to Baroque and Renaissance music, literature and art inspired me to pursue this expression. I lived in London at a time when Early Music was just becoming popular again and students of the Lute, Baroque Guitar, Vihuela, Viols and other early instruments would come to London for training at the Early Music Center. They would be able to purchase their instruments at very affordable prices from us students. After the 3 year program, a select few of us were invited to share a workshop space in a converted building beside the Early Music Center.
I was always drawn to the harp, however, and after 7 years in London, I was invited to join a project in Irvine, CA as an accomplished wood craftsman. After a year there, my wife and I left CA and settled in New Mexico, where we had our first child. I visited the occasional harp maker and eventually I met a harp maker, Ross Barrable who was transitioning to building sound sculptures. He showed me how to build my first harp. I redesigned his models, added a line of economy and therapy models, and so began my new career as a harp maker. Because of my focus on the Therapy Harp, I wrote an article on Harp Therapy after interviewing the pioneer founders of Harp Therapy programs. Again, I was at the right place and time to document and invent and participate in a new movement that was making an impact. Again, I was involved in a modality or offering that was contributing to healing and the betterment of people’s lives.
I had been interested in Metaphysical and Spiritual subjects throughout this time, learning various spiritual disciplines such as meditation, channeling, peer counseling and a process called HeartThread, a modality that allows us to replace old conditioned patterns with life-affirming and positive attitudes and behaviors. I became a teacher/trainer of HeartThread and this opened me to being able to channel messages from a higher Source in conjunction with my literary skills through journaling, poetry, automatic writing, and eventually authoring a book of channeled material called “The Path of the Spiritual Warrior”, based on a course I was asked to teach. In 2011 I retired from harp making and moved to Santa Fe to organize an event for 11/11/11 called Live as One. Following this event, I became part of an initiative to build “Medicine Water Wheels” for ceremonies to bless water. This brought me in contact with Indigenous Grandmothers and luminaries in the New Age community, volunteering and participating in these initiatives. I was an ordained minister at this time too. My focus was on service, particularly how to help people heal from their traumas and blocks to health and happiness. My non-profit and business, Healing The Scars was established to provide help for people suffering from the effects of war, violence and abuse globally.
This led me to study and become a practitioner of The Emotion Code®, followed by the Body Code® and Belief Code®. By this time I had a small package of products and services I could offer to clients. I sold Shungite to protect people from the harmful effects of Electromagnetic fields, purify water and enhance their immune systems. I promoted a healing spray called Nano Soma that reverses aging and assists the body to heal itself. I was a Spiritual Counselor and Channel and I was teaching and offering HeartThread®. I also discovered I could relieve pain and discomfort in the body by placing my hands on the affected area. I call this giving Source Light. When I just stand behind someone and hold my hands over their head and shoulders, they feel a strong connection with their Higher Self. I have an office in Santa Fe where I offer my services as an Energy Healer to my clients and their animals in person and I also work with people all over the world via the internet.
This work is extremely effective with all sorts of conditions, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. I get amazing results resolving deep-seated issues, traumas, lifestyle issues. As part of this work I combine my intuitive skills with the charts and apps that are the tools of the modalities, especially the Body Code. Thus I can often pinpoint a sickness from an ancestor, called a Miasm, Cut cords, release entities and curses and remove sabotage energies. The modalities I use are remarkably simple, but can identify complex associations and causes at the bottom of most conditions. My website www.HealingTheScars.com has all the basic information on my offerings as well as a number of testimonials, YouTube videos of channeled messages from my Guides, while my personal website www.RaphaelWeisman.com offers a wide gamut of information about my literary, artistic and creative achievements. This includes photos of my instruments, carvings, drawings, my book and articles about me as well as those I have written.
I do many pro-bono sessions and offer special discounts for multiple sessions booked in advance and a sliding scale for those with financial challenges. I offer compassionate care and non-judgmental spiritual and practical advice to my clients. Almost all my clients have been extremely satisfied with the results and refer me to their friends and family.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
This question is similar to the one about what beside training etc creates the foundation for success.
I find it is important to be genuine. My customers appreciate that I am honest with them and treat them with respect. Somehow, commitment to excellence, willingness to learn from your mistakes and rectify problems when they are pointed out, and having a positive, loving attitude all contribute to building a good reputation. I often had to repair a harp that broke at my own expense, because I took responsibility to provide the best customer service, even after a warranty had expired. Eventually my Therapy harps were highly regarded because of the quality of the tone and workmanship. In my Energy Healing practice, I go out of my way to go the extra mile, adding additional time and process to ensure that what we cleared does not get compromised. I provide a full chart of our session with additional information and explanations. I often fit a client in after hours or on the weekend to accommodate an emergency. Because I trust and follow my guidance and provide only the highest vibration of wisdom, they feel my confidence in what comes through me. My spiritual practices allow me to maintain a calm, loving atmosphere, which helps them to feel calmer.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
My practice evolved as I evolved. Again this is similar to the question about having to pivot. I studied music and English Lit at university and was planning to continue as an academic. I would have been offered a role as a teacher, but when I fell in love with Early Music and felt a calling to work with my hands, I followed the calling and moved to London to study instrument making. Then came the time when I was drawn to shift to harp making and I created Harps of Lorien and had a career as a harp maker. Another shift occurred when the call to retire from that and come down from the mountain to pursue a career in spiritual counseling and energy healing and provide select healing products. Once again, when I felt the call to study and learn new, specialized healing skills, it opened another new chapter in my life and I am now pursuing this career, deriving great satisfaction and helping more people that ever and more deeply. I am 80 years old and still expanding. It feels like there are more adventures around the bend. So, yes, I would follow the same course because it led me to my current speciality, but that’s not necessarily the end of the journey
