We recently connected with Raphael Loquellano and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Raphael thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I believe one of the best ingredients to success is meeting people where they’re at. Connecting with people I feel like is sometimes overstated but never successfully practiced. Before I started my company, I enjoyed attending social gatherings and non profit outreach events that allowed me to be among amazing people who have inspired me in my journey.
A flashback to 6 years ago, I was a full time manager for a growing start up but deep inside, I was overworked, tired and didn’t really love my job. I endured because of the security and grateful for opportunity but not for the passion. One of my friends started a nonprofit outreach that allowed working professionals and volunteers to give out free ice cream from a paid ice cream truck that we drove around in a developing area near downtown Orlando. Little did I know that I was going to meet some of the best people that would change the course of my life. One such connections was a founder of a booming creative agency that would not only become one of my biggest clients when I started my own media company but also one of my best mentors in business as well as life. He welcomed me as a part of his work family in which I’m still a part of today. We’ve been able to work on projects that if I spoke about them, I would be pinching myself for the caliber of network I’ve been gifted.
Sometimes in life, we’ll get so lucky that we’ll find the best listeners to our dreams in the most unlikely of places. These valuable instances has shaped my heart for community and although my journey is far from retirement, I’m glad I did it my way..

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

We are always looking to add a few more companies to our schedule, so please reach out.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
We’ve built our reputation by working with reputable clientele that not only run businesses in their cities but also give back to the community. I’ve had the chance to work with restaurant groups that represent not just their local community but honor the heritage they inspire their recipes from. It goes back to bringing value. No one knows how much work goes into running a business especially when you’re the business owner. Free time becomes something of a mirage for a while but I still believe it’s all worth it. I keep myself social in important events and truly do my best to acknowledge those who want to be acknowledged. In a saturated world, you have to put yourself out there.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my audience by just being myself. I post what I like and share funny clips that show I’m not just business but also play. Life is too short to be uptight and I know that really doesn’t correlate with my inner self. I would post frequently about my travels, both work and personal. I didn’t know that people would care interest in what I did in my life but it has helped me meet some amazing new people. I’m currently traveling the whole USA for 2023, working as a remote content creator and it has been a blast. You just never know who you’ll meet but trust me,the world is still small..
