Today we’d like to introduce you to Rane Rose
Hi Rane, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I come from humble beginnings as an only child raised in a family where both academic excellence and the arts were emphasized. My mother, an accountant, played a dual role as my mentor and the one who introduced me to the world of creativity. She nurtured both my love for music, dance, and performance, while also instilling a deep sense of discipline and commitment to education.
From a young age, I balanced my time between academic rigor and the performing arts. I took lessons in singing, piano, and ballet, while also excelling in school. My upbringing was structured in such a way that I was encouraged to develop resilience, which has proven invaluable in my career.
I hold degrees in Broadcasting, a Master’s in Communication Research, and have pursued advanced studies in business management at the Harvard Division of Continuing Education. My professional career has spanned leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies, and I’ve had the privilege of working with startups in the fast-paced tech sector. My last role before leaving the corporate world was in business development at an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) company, which went public and was acquired by a global software company with 26,000 employees. Throughout this journey, I authored three books on leadership and entrepreneurship, which reflect my passion for inspiring others to succeed.
Currently, I’m the CEO and co-founder of ResolutionX, where we offer our SaaS solutions alongside human-centric services like contact center support and virtual assistance. This venture represents my commitment to innovation and ensuring that technology serves human needs in meaningful ways. We’re now in the pre-seed stage, actively looking for partners who share our vision of integrating AI with exceptional customer service.
On the artistic side, I’ve released five classical crossover albums, with songs in nine languages, and have appeared as a TV personality, hosting shows that aired on major networks like NBC and The CW.
Ultimately, my journey is about blending creativity, business acumen, and a passion for innovation into everything I do. It’s been a rewarding experience, and I’m excited to see where the future takes me.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Every journey comes with its own set of challenges, and mine has been no different. One of the earliest challenges I faced was balancing my academic and artistic pursuits. Growing up, I had to learn how to manage my time effectively between rigorous studies and my passion for performing arts. It was demanding but taught me discipline and the importance of prioritization, which has been essential throughout my career.
Another challenge came when transitioning from working in established Fortune 500 companies to the fast-paced and uncertain world of startups. In the corporate world, I had resources and a structured environment, but startups come with ambiguity and high stakes. It pushed me to make quick, impactful decisions and to be resourceful even when things didn’t go according to plan.
Building ResolutionX from the ground up has also been a challenge in itself. In the pre-seed stage, convincing investors and partners to see your vision and trust in your innovation is never easy. It requires resilience, adaptability, and relentless belief in your mission, especially when you’re trying to break into competitive fields like AI and SaaS.
Lastly, being a multi-faceted entrepreneur while pursuing my passions in music, television and film, does come with its own set of challenges. Balancing the business and creative worlds, and ensuring that both continue to thrive, can be quite a juggling act. But I’ve come to see these challenges as opportunities—they push me to grow, adapt, and find success in ways I never anticipated. It’s all part of the journey, and I’m grateful for the lessons each step brings.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
In my journey, I’ve found that many of the most valuable lessons and insights I’ve gained have come from my time in the corporate world, working alongside experienced leaders and executives. Mentorship in this environment wasn’t always formal; much of what I learned came through observing leadership in action. Whether it was navigating high-pressure situations, making strategic decisions, or managing large teams, the corporate setting provided me with a foundation in leadership that continues to shape my approach today.
In these roles, I was exposed to the rigor and structure of enterprise-level training, which instilled a strong sense of discipline and a deep understanding of how large organizations operate. This experience helped refine my decision-making skills and sharpen my ability to adapt in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Even now, as an entrepreneur leading my own ventures, I still rely on the principles I learned in those corporate settings. My approach to business, even in a more entrepreneurial space, remains grounded in the strategic thinking and operational excellence of enterprise-level training.
Though I’ve transitioned from corporate leadership to managing my own businesses, I continue to apply the same high standards and structured methodologies that are often more associated with large enterprises than with SMEs. I believe that this focus on scalability, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making gives me a competitive edge, especially as I build ventures that bridge both tech and human-centric services.
In terms of mentorship, I would say that my biggest mentors have been the leaders I worked with in those corporate environments. They shaped my approach to leadership, strategy, and problem-solving in ways that I carry forward into my entrepreneurial journey. Now, I try to take those lessons and pass them on to others, particularly by sharing my experiences and insights through my books, podcasts, and mentoring up-and-coming entrepreneurs.
Ultimately, while mentorship is incredibly valuable, much of what I’ve learned has come from being in the trenches of the corporate world—where leadership, strategy, and enterprise-level thinking are crucial to success. These experiences continue to influence my approach, both in the decisions I make as an entrepreneur and in how I lead and mentor others.
