We were lucky to catch up with Randy Rude recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Randy, thanks for joining us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
I absolutely love my fans but we do not refer to them as fans in CSW (Colorado Springs Wrestling) they are known as Family! We grow together and with all their love and support, we continue to thrive as one of the best Independent Professional Wrestling companies in Colorado. I raise money for charity throughout the year but my main one is Headlocks for Hospice every June. Since taking ownership of CSW, we have raised over $30,000 for charities and continue to do all we can for the community. Just knowing I put smiles on faces and kids are going to leave my show and go home and turn their room into a ring says I have done something right!

Randy, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Our company is Colorado Springs Wrestling and we are one of the most successful and intimate shows on the market. The company was founded by the late Chris Chaves in 2016 and purchased by Randy “Rude” Chacon in 2019. All our shows are at Sunshine Studios Live at 3970 Clear Frontage Rd Colorado Springs CO 80911. We have live events one Saturday every month and are very family and military friendly. We are also on all social media and have episodes of CSW Saturday nights airing all the time on our YouTube channel. Our charity work and touching the lives of the young CSW family is our greatest achievement for sure. We have an amazing group of both old and new to the business fromm all over the country that come and wrestle for us. Also, the venue is one main reason we are so amazing for sure! Not just the lights and sound set up but the staff has become family to us. It’s home for sure. This June, we will have our 4th annual Headlocks for Hospice event to raise money for Sangre De Cristo Community Care. A non profit Hospice facility in southern Colorado. I just want the CSW Family to know that they are so important to me and all the lovethey give I try to give back ten fold. I love you all!

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The best way is to actually get to know them. Do t treat them as another customer or ticket sale. No, treat them like your cousin that just showed up at the reunion. That’s why we call our fans the CSW Family. I have personally sold tickets to over 98% of our sold out crowd every month and I still do to this day. Don’t just act like you care, truly care and it will pay off.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I send messages to all our family every month. Some just to make sure they know we have their seats saved for the next show. But also just to make sure they had a great time. I spend at least 2 nights a week contacting people weather through emails or messages and calls. Always stay connected.
