We were lucky to catch up with Ramon Winters recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ramon , appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
I took several acting classes…Susan Batson, The company Acting Studio and Halo Models and Talent. Also I got involved in student projects and background work. I don’t think the process could have been sped up. In fact, I’m still learning. The most essential skills I’ve acquired would have to be the soft skills such as set etiquette, responding to casting calls properly etc.

I’m a full-time actor/model/film producer based in Savannah GA. I specialize in acting for film. I am the founder of 5Eleven Performing Arts Academy in Savannah/Pooler And JayReese film productions.
What sets Me apart?.. I win by Playing my own game and by my own rules. I blaze my own trail, don’t follow what’s “in”, compete or try to fit into any circles or groups. I put doing good work before anything else that comes with the business. I let God fight ALL my battles. I never approach MY visions, goals or assignments with a “something to prove” to others type of attitude. I never get caught up in (social) contests. I allow Myself to be lead by God and only do the things that I love and what he purposed and called me to do. Overall, I’m honest/real with myself and God..
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
It’s most rewarding for me to see a a complete production come through on screen.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
It’s the journey!! The people, the adventure, highs and lows, the traveling, The journey is my mission.
