We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rakia Taylor. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rakia below.
Rakia, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
1997. I was 5 years old when my family decided to purchase art work I’ve made. Although I was only 5 years old I could tell that I had a gift. My mom could never afford the extra things for me at school so when she ordered the “lighthouse” she still has it til this day.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Tayvion T aka Ho0d Hippie. I think coming from poverty I never got a chance to be an “Artist”. I wasn’t supported it was just a dream or unrealistic. I went to the Army where I suppressed my desires to be an Artist it’s two completely different lifestyles. Onlyfans content came from being homeless and thinking of a fast money. I’m proud of establishing my name and vision while I was depressed it gave me motivation. When I make music, paint pictures, and create clothing it’s like telling a story visually.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I made all of it haha the credit the acknowledgment of knowing you turned nothing into something literally.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I’ve always been into technology and the internet. Once YouTube, Facebook, etc allowed a person to post videos and pictures I just posted my content and On all platforms I’m not always consistent but the key is to display. everywhere
