Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rajesh Vemula. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Rajesh, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

I am starting my first short film project at the end of July 2022. This is a periodic thriller addressing a social issue. We are planning to submit to different film festivals once we complete the film before releasing it on Social media platforms..

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am a Data Engineer, but filmmaking, writing and photography has always been passion and I always wanted to be a filmmaker.

I have been doing photography to fund my other projects and gear.
My expertise in Photography has always been portraits and fashion photography and most of my clients are the ones who usually need a portraits, Headshots, and Fashion photography.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

I would say, we need to be active in Social media and facebook groups. In order to get your first client, we need to offer free photoshoots like TFP to your friends or people you know. This helps you in building a portfolio before getting your first client.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect of being an artist or creative is having able to deliver the output you have been expecting. I mean if we the result is what you have been thought initially and what you are trying to express, I think that gives a satisfaction for being an artist.
