We were lucky to catch up with RAJAB GUGA recently and have shared our conversation below.

RAJAB, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

For me its showing up because success isn’t luck or talent. It’s discipline, perseverance, and having the hindsight to learn from your failures. And along the way to success you’re gonna stumble, fall, and fail. A lot. It’s inevitable. But all you gotta Just keep learning from it. Because to be honest If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop the habit in little matters. Excellence is not an exception, it is a prevailing attitude. Because it doesn’t matter if you’re tired or rested. If you’re on your mission, you need to get to work regardless. Time and tide wait for no one. Trust yourself. Trust your journey. Ignore what everyone else is doing or where everyone else is at it’s a recipe for misery. They’re not you and you’re not them. Focus on yourself. if you think for a second. Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of one thing and one thing only. Work. Work is the only thing standing between you where you are now and where you want to be. So, you already have the time. Just do the work and Always be grateful for what you have. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be hungry for everything that’s yet to come. You can do both at the same time.

RAJAB, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Well my name is Rajab a travel photographer and videographer from Tanzania. For me it all started from watching many YouTube videos. Which over time, I got to develop a love for the craft. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had an appreciation for capturing moments on camera and everything that goes into it. This was a natural career choice for me and one that I’m grateful I still get to pursue, As I get to work with amazing people on a daily basis which I’m thankful for and its a dream come true for me to help people capture their memories. I’m really proud of my accomplishment having shot so many project in real estate, weeding, sports, lifestyles and many more and I’m looking forward to many more to come.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

Self-Expression when I’m able to express my thoughts, emotions, and ideas through my art or creative work is incredibly fulfilling. It help me with an outlet for self-discovery, self-reflection, and personal growth. Having the freedom to convey my unique perspective and connect with others on a deeper level. Also the Impact I have on other people. When my art and creativity has the power to inspire, provoke thought, and evoke emotions in people. And when my work can touch the lives of others, making them feel understood, entertained, or moved. Creating something that resonates with someone else and leaves a positive impact can be highly rewarding. In addition the feeling of having Personal Satisfaction on the process of creating art or engaging in a creative endeavor often brings me a sense of fulfillment and joy. The act of bringing my imagination to life, solving creative problems, and seeing the final result can be immensely satisfying. It helps boost my confidence and provide a sense of achievement.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Working with other creatives and friends who helped me learn and also shared my work with the world. Secondly by offering value to brands and companies without expecting anything in return..I considered that as my capital to help me get more work and recognition for my talent.
