We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Rain a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Rain, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
Waterthepeople, as a brand, stands as a pivotal cornerstone in the elegant fusion of style and self-care enlightenment. My connection to each creation is profound, weaving them intricately into the tapestry of my own existence. This endeavor of sharing the very practices that replenish my being has not only facilitated a platform for unbridled expression but also illuminated pathways for others to discover solace amidst dark times or thoughts.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
“Nurturing creativity, enriching life”. WTP is a dynamic creative and production agency, specializing in audio and visual excellence, seamlessly combined with expert project management. As a holistic lifestyle brand, we also cultivate inclusive capsules that celebrate elevated life experiences and prioritize mental health. Our mission is to inspire, empower, and connect individuals through innovative artistic endeavors while fostering a community dedicated to enhancing well-being and embracing life to the fullest.”

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
My audience has been an extension of supporters of my network. Friends, family and clients alike. All traction as of right now has been very much organic. Right places, right time, right people. I’m grateful for where I am right now and look forward to seeing where WTP will go from here. My advice to anyone looking to build on social media is this:
You don’t need 1 million followers. Think of your business as a small physical shop. If you have 10-20 people in your shop at a time you will feel overwhelmed trying to properly service everyones needs. The goal is to focus on the 5 or 6 or 20 supporters you have now. Theres are your potential clients, your potential word-of-mouth marketing and your potential loyal supporters. Water yourself and your business and watch it grow.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Seeing a project through, all the way through to the finish line. There’s no better feeling than seeing your creation take on the world and for the world to take on your creativity.
