Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Raimondo Rossi. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Raimondo, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
I remember a series of projects full of meaning for our society that I have created in recent years. The last one, for which a historical museum in my hometown of Rome dedicated a solo exhibition, was a photographic journey that at the same time speaks about the meanings of fashion history, inclusivity and diversity, acceptance, and strongly rails against all forms of bullying.

Raimondo, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started with a lot of photo reports of the backstage of fashion shows. The most important ones in the world like Armani, Prada, MGM, Off White and others. Then the repetitiveness of fashion led me to talk about bullying, inclusion, so my focus now is to talk about fashion or style in a different way: through my projects I create strong connections against bullying in society. I have been a judge at many fashion events and beauty contests, and even there I try to make a real and sincere contribution in a world that is often made up of endorsements. My photography is also very real, with natural lighting and enhances pure beauty.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I think the greatest contribution to my career and fame has been the simple people. No one from the industry helped me, but simple people spontaneously began to follow my work. And from these amazing people came proclamations from both the California State Senate and the Italian Senate. I love my audience and I thank all my friends in LA and Italy so much.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I remember at the beginning of the career, the creative director of a fashion house told me that my work in the backstage area was useless because I was talking about the stories of the harassed models instead of the clothes, but I continued and shortly after that the magazine Rolling Stone contacted me to praise my work and to give me an interview, which was a great satisfaction against that creative director who was so shallow.
