We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Raghda Abdelmaksoud. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Raghda below.
Raghda, appreciate you joining us today. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard.
As a woman-owned company, we are a bit different as we have both services and education and consulting For the part of the service, we are very keen to work with our clients on the best practices, and efficient and transparent ways in warehousing, logistics, and distribution. we only work with companies that have sustainability programs for employees, communities, and businesses. We always work on win-win and believe that companies grow together, so we deal with our customers as long-term business partners. We are approved vendors in multiple big box retailers and follow all the federal and state rules.
When it comes to the education part We love teaching in a different way, our teaching methods are hands-on and fun, and we teach in a multi-sensory way where we incorporate all the senses as we are teaching a Holistic modality. some examples are
1- Take our students on Botanical walks in the USA to learn about the plants
2- Do practical classes to train them about the topics we are teaching
3- Arrange study tours to other countries so they can see the whole supply chain
4- Involve music, and art in both our in-person and virtual classes
5- We do 101 coaching sessions to answer any questions they may have.
6- A free consultation if the students want to have a successful business after finishing their learning.
7- We collaborate with other practitioners and educators to come and teach with us so our students can learn about other supportive holistic modalities.
As for the consulting part we love working on projects where we can be an added value for our clients, our consulting is in business development and feasibility studies, working with different cultures, governments are companies gave us a lot of experience in the MAP ( Medicinal and aromatic plants industry)

Raghda, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I love how my consulting services business and education business are somehow related,
My background is in business development and supply chain, I have 23 years of experience in global business development in the medicinal and aromatic plants, flavors-fragrance, and essential oils industries, where I worked as an independent consultant with medium-sized companies as well as governmental projects in various countries, my main mission was to empower, educate and set procedures for both companies and organizations to grow and to have a sustainable business and sustainable communities working in those businesses. I am also a guest speaker at TSNJ as well as other events and forums where I share my experience and knowledge with young entrepreneurs.
As an educator in Holistic complementary medicine like Aromatherapy, I chose to be a clinically certified aromatherapist and educator in addition to volunteering at National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy the International Relations Committee as well as being an Airmid Institute Ambassador which is dedicated to global education, research, and sustainable management for the Medicinal and Aromatic plants. As well as teaching people how to safely use Aromatherapy in their daily life to enhance their way of living, we teach corporates, hospitals, organizations as well as individuals.
In the meantime, we sell essential oils products that we source from small artisanal distillers to help them sell their products, as well as help our students to buy genuine and pure products.
Our job is to solve problems and do corrective actions.
1- When it comes to warehousing, logistics, and distribution we work on behalf of our overseas clients to make sure their products are safe and delivered on time to their final destination anywhere in the country.
2- In consulting our task is to create processes and procedures to solve all the bottlenecks that our clients may have.
3- in education and training we love teaching a holistic modality that will help people how to deal with day-to-day stress , how to create new businesses using Aromatherapy, and also how to improve their current businesses.
We love working with people and communities.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I was working on a project in Albania where I have to develop a unit for essential oils in a company there, it wasn’t easy to work in a different country with the language barrier, and most of the time with business practices that have been in place for years. I was determined to help them and give them my expertise in how to develop procedures and processes that will enhance their supply chain as well as attract new clients to their businesses. My approach was always to hear, engage and change.
Hearing their stories, complaints, challenges, and bottlenecks. Then engage them in putting new work instructions, processes, and procedures, train them until they are confident, and then change will come with no resistance.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
In 2018 I decided to stop working in the corporate world, there was too much politics in the workplace, studying aromatherapy changed me completely and I started looking at my life differently, in Valentine’s Day I resigned after 23 years of corporate life. I kept working in the same industry that I loved but from a different perspective, I opened the consulting company, created the website, and years later the company grow into different branches, where we have services, education, and consulting.
I never regretted my decision and I am so proud of what I achieved and thankful for my family, friends and mentors who supported me during my journey.
