We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Raghav Reddy. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Raghav below.
Raghav, appreciate you joining us today. One of our favorite things to hear about is stories around the nicest thing someone has done for someone else – what’s the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
The Hollywood is a circle of kind people. Its on us how we navigate our path. I won’t be revealing the name of the celebrity but he trusted this no body and got me my first film production job as an PA. I am really thankful to all my mentors and friends who have always been there
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I usually work as Production Designer and Art Director for films, TV shows, music videos, and commercials. I’m a passionate troubleshooter who loves exploring diverse styles and bringing visuals to life. Every project is approached with a commitment as if it’s my last, driving me to work harder. Networking, humility, and respect are my keys to success. Helping others is my way of paying forward the chances I’ve been given. I had the honor of working on projects like Dolce & Gabbana, Coca cola, Superbowl commercial 2024, Era’s Tour and some more stuff which are in processes. My goal is to create art that’s remembered and carries symbolic significance.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
There’s nothing to unlearn but sometimes just acting that you don’t know in front of your bosses takes you long way. But I definitely vouch on that every knowledge, skills or experience comes into play at right time in life and saves your day. One common lesson people may need to unlearn is the idea that failure is a negative outcome. Many are taught from a young age to avoid failure, but in reality, failure often provides valuable lessons and opportunities for growth. Embracing failure as a natural part of the learning process can lead to resilience, creativity, and eventual success. The backstory for this lesson often lies in societal expectations and the fear of judgment. People may feel pressure to succeed without realizing that setbacks are integral to personal and professional development. Unlearning the negative connotations associated with failure can be transformative, fostering a mindset that values learning from experiences, both positive and challenging.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My passion lies in crafting content that ignites positive change in society. Recognizing the transformative influence of the film and TV industry, I aspire to shape culture and inspire real-world impact. Through my work, I aim to address societal issues and promote uplifting values.
