We were lucky to catch up with Rafiq Mahmud Rahat recently and have shared our conversation below.
Rafiq Mahmud, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So, let’s start with trends – what are some of the largest or more impactful trends you are seeing in the industry?
One big change happening now is how computers and smart tools, like AI, are helping people learn and work faster. These tools can help students figure out how to study better, solve problems quickly, and focus on important tasks. This means they can reach their goals much faster than before.
At CSB, we’ve worked on making learning fun and helpful. We use tools that guide students step by step and let them practice what they learn. This has helped many people discover their talents and start exciting careers.

Rafiq Mahmud, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi, I’m Rafiq Mahmud Rahat, and I’ve been lucky to work as a teacher and researcher in different places. I love helping others learn and grow, whether it’s through teaching or creating new ideas.
What makes me special is that I believe in trying my best, no matter how hard something seems. Balancing work, studies, and family has been challenging, but I always remind myself to keep going because it’s worth it. My goal is to help others believe in themselves and reach their dreams.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
There was a time when I had to handle many things all at once—teaching, studying for my degree, and taking care of my family. My school project needed a lot of hard work and special tools, but I didn’t have everything I needed. Sometimes, it felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere, and I thought about giving up.
But I didn’t quit. I asked for help, tried new ways to solve problems, and worked really hard, even when I felt tired. In the end, I finished my project, and it reminded me that even when things feel impossible, sticking with it can lead to success.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
People know me as someone who works hard and cares about others. I’ve always tried to make learning simple and enjoyable so that everyone can understand and grow. Whether it’s teaching, researching, or solving problems, I focus on creating opportunities for others.
What matters most to me is building trust. I want people to feel supported and inspired when they work with me. My goal has always been to make a positive impact, not just by solving problems but by helping others believe in their own abilities.
