Rafi , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
Rafi Hannouche’s journey to launching Tequila Gran Diamante began with his friends’ struggling tequila brand. After seeing their struggle for two years, he was inspired to step in and take over the leadership of the brand. As a Tequila aficionado himself, he brought a business and marketing mentality to the company, which boosted the label and restructured the company, seeking out experts. Hannouche sought a master distiller while he also worked with lawyers to secure a name and a factory for the luxurious bottle design. He painstakingly perfected the design and formula, holding sample tastings, and when people tried their formula, they resoundingly said: “smooth.” Rafi officially launched Tequila Gran Diamante in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, going door to door and liquor store to liquor store. Despite the pandemic and competition, they landed over 200 locations in 5 months, gaining the attention of big players in the industry. Late last year, they got approached by the second-largest distributor in North America, and they are signing up with them, which will help expand the brand nationwide. And more recently just signed international distribution with Canada. Although they faced many obstacles and challenges early on, Hannouche’s famous motto “nothing but the best” kept them on track. They had issues maintaining the quality of the bottle in the manufacturing process, but they eventually worked out the kinks. They faced lockdowns and supply chain issues, but they overcame them with great sacrifice. Starting a brand-new business from the ground up was a struggle and a big challenge, but Hannouche knew that struggles were part of the journey. Hannouche’s experience as a serial entrepreneur and the owner of Beyond Image Graphics, Inc. has helped him put together a solid action plan for Royal Ventures Group, his brand development and management company. His ultimate goal for Royal Ventures Group is to replicate his success with Tequila Gran Diamante and aid other ventures around the world in bloom. Overall, Rafi Hannouche’s journey to launching Tequila Gran Diamante was a challenging but rewarding one. As a tequila aficionado myself, I knew that I had the business and marketing mentality to help bring their idea to fruition. I restructured the company, sought out experts, and worked tirelessly to perfect our formula and bottle design.

We are constantly striving to expand our brand and increase distribution, and our recent partnership with the second-largest distributor in North America is a testament to our success.
Our main focus is on providing our clients with the best possible product and service. We solve the problem of subpar tequilas on the market by offering a smooth, luxurious experience that cannot be found anywhere else. Our brand is all about celebrating life’s special moments, and we believe that our tequila is the perfect addition to any celebration.
I am most proud of the success that we have achieved so far, especially in the face of the challenges brought on by the pandemic. We launched our brand at the beginning of the pandemic and despite the tough circumstances, we were able to secure over 200 locations in just 5 months.
