Hi Raed, thanks for joining us today. So, let’s start with a hypothetical – what would you change about the educational system?

My mission is to revolutionize the education system entirely. Currently, most students are burdened with historical data and information, leading to an overload of content that may not be practical or useful in the near future. This traditional approach often results in students feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from their studies.

I believe in a more focused and personalized education system. My aim is to tailor the curriculum to students’ interests and passions, allowing them to delve deeply into their chosen subjects. By becoming experts in their fields of interest, students will be more engaged and motivated.

Additionally, I advocate for incorporating hands-on experiences and real-world scenarios into the learning process. This approach will help students understand how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice. It will prepare them to confidently navigate the challenges of the real world, especially when it comes to developing their own brands and businesses in the tech industry, cybersecurity, and other fields.

For example, during my schooling, I often found myself questioning the practicality of the vast amount of information I was required to memorize. While I appreciated the historical knowledge, I realized that what truly excited me was understanding how technology works and how I could apply that knowledge to solve real-world problems. This realization drove me to seek out practical experiences and projects that aligned with my interests, which eventually shaped my career in cybersecurity. Certainly! One story from my journey that illustrates my resilience involves a significant project I undertook during my early teenage years. At the age of 15, I was deeply interested in cybersecurity and wanted to make a meaningful impact in the field. I decided to focus on automating the exploitation of vulnerabilities in the WordPress Content Management System (CMS), a widely used platform with a large user base.

I embarked on this project with the goal of identifying and addressing security weaknesses that could pose serious threats to users. The process was incredibly challenging. I had to delve into the intricacies of WordPress, understand its architecture, and learn about various exploitation techniques. The work was demanding and often frustrating. There were numerous instances where my scripts failed to work as intended, or I encountered unexpected obstacles that set me back.

Despite these challenges, I remained determined. I spent countless hours researching, coding, and testing my automation tool. I reached out to the cybersecurity community for guidance and continuously refined my approach. My persistence eventually paid off when I successfully developed a tool that could automate the exploitation of certain vulnerabilities in WordPress CMS, leading to the discovery of high-severity level vulnerabilities.

This achievement was a significant milestone in my journey, reinforcing my belief in the power of resilience and determination. It also underscored the importance of practical, hands-on experience in mastering complex subjects. This experience shaped my approach to both my career and my mission to transform the education system. I want students to understand that setbacks are a natural part of any learning process and that perseverance is key to overcoming challenges.
