We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Radiah Rhodes a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Radiah, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
I didn’t start with a business idea—I started with a breakdown.
From the outside, my life looked ideal. I was a corporate executive, a trained engineer, a wife, a mother. I had all the degrees, the success, the structure. I’d done everything “right.” And yet every night, I found myself sitting in a corner of my bedroom crying—not because anything was falling apart, but because I couldn’t feel myself inside the life I had built.
My turning point wasn’t dramatic. It was a simple quiet question from my father:
“Stretch… who are you?”
I had no answer. But the question unlocked something in me. and as I wrote, prayed, and meditated, I got it! I am Life Changing Love. The answer felt so true and so resonant, that for the first time in my life, I didn’t need to prove it. I just needed to practice it. So as any engineer would, I opened up an Excel spreadsheet and created a plan.
That plan became a method. That method became a system. And over time, that system became a body of work. I tested it in my own life every day—through corporate leadership, marriage, parenting, entrepreneurship, and burnout recovery. Every quarter, I would sit down with my own “game plan” and align my life to my identity—not the other way around.
I called my great friend, Dr. Roni Ellington, and said “I’ve got something here that I know can help a lot of people”.
We built out a curriculum and started with six clients, a Free Conference Call number, and a PowerPoint. Then I wrote the book, Being Is the New Doing, and we launched the first Evók “box”. It included a workbook and full identity toolkit. We’ve run retreats, coached teams and executives of Fortune 100 companies and have now facilitated over 5500 people through their own personal transformation.
We didn’t start with a business model—We started with a need to live from truth, and we built the model from that place.. Having a clear identity and being highly intentional is what has kept us going and growing through every phase of business. Shifting from being employees to entrepreneurs is an all encompassing transformation, but that’s what we’re built for and that’s what we teach — how to be, and build from who you are.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am Life Changing Love, and my name is Radiah Rhodes—an engineer by training, a strategist by wisdom, and a way-shower at my core.
I spent over twenty years building systems for some of the world’s most powerful companies—managing global operations and leading innovation at scale. But somewhere along the way, I realized I had mastered performance without mastering presence. I knew how to succeed. I didn’t know how to feel successful.
That realization led me to the most important work of my life: building the systems and tools that help people own their identity and live in alignment with who they truly are.
Today, I run two distinct brands:
Evók is our education and licensing company. We train and certify coaches and organizations to use our identity- and intention-based frameworks to drive sustainable performance, presence, and well-being across teams and cultures.
Under my personal brand, Radiah Rhodes, I work directly with high-performing individuals—executives, founders, and athletes—who are seeking something deeper than more wins. They’re ready for a new kind of success: one built on truth, clarity, and identity ownership.
My work includes:
Being Is the New Doing – my book on the transformation from performance to presence
The Power Playbook – a personal identity starter kit
The Identity Effect – my signature 90-day system for aligning who you are with how you live
What sets me apart is implementation. Most personal development tools offer insights, information, and inspiration. What matters to me is: How do you actually live what you learn?
I’m not a coach in the traditional sense—I’m a trainer. I train people to build lives that are not only successful, but satisfying. My background as an engineer shows up in how I deliver clarity, not just concepts. I make implementation simple and powerful, offering tools, systems, and daily practices people can use to live consciously—with peace and power.
I’m most proud that this isn’t just theory. I’ve lived it. I’ve trained it. I’ve used this system to build a life I truly love—one that includes my family, health, creativity, and success. And I’ve watched clients across industries use it to transform burnout into energy, confusion into conviction, and ambition into alignment.
What I want people to know is this:
The high-quality, deeply meaningful life you desire doesn’t have to be hard.
You are the source—and you simply need a new way of being to create it.
That’s what I offer: a system to start living, creating, and leading from your true identity—so you can live a life worthy of you.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Hands down—partnerships. Not just any partnerships, but aligned ones.
From the very beginning, my business partner Dr. Roni Ellington and I built this work from a place of truth and resonance. We didn’t just share ideas—we shared intention, integrity, and a commitment to transformation. That foundation made it possible to co-create something powerful and sustainable.
Since then, aligned partnerships have continued to be the most effective growth strategy—we’ve partnered with coaching firms, wellness brands, corporate teams, or individuals in my network who believed in the work because they experienced it firsthand. I’ve never been interested in chasing clients. What’s worked is cultivating relationships rooted in mutual clarity, alignment, and impact.
One truth is that, people trust people. And when someone you trust shares a method or message that moved them, you listen. You try it. That’s how my work has grown—from authentic word of mouth and deep connection. We’ve tried all the things from funnels to webinars and events, but we always come back to partnerships.
At its core, our work is about identity. So it makes sense that the most aligned way to grow it… is through relationships that honor who we truly are.

We’d really appreciate if you could talk to us about how you figured out the manufacturing process.
Yes—we manufacture our product. And that’s been a defining choice for our brand.
Most coaching companies stay digital to keep costs down. But from the very beginning, I knew our work had to be physical and tangible – that’s part of the implementation. Your probability of success increases when you write your identity on paper and you touch the tools you’ll use to design your life. That’s why we’ve always included a physical “box” with everything you need to transform—the workbook, design boards, planner, book, and the tools.
I brought my background in manufacturing, engineering, innovation, and consumer products into the development of every piece. I love making sure it’s not only functional, but premium and beautiful. I’m passionate about design that makes people feel something. The product has to reflect the transformation it promises.
We didn’t know exactly how to translate the power of our method into the product in the beginning. We’ve gone through so many iterations to find partners who could deliver the quality and intentionality we required. That process is ongoing—refinement never stops. From managing inventory and lead times to packaging and shipping, we’ve had to build systems that can scale without losing the substance of our work.
The biggest lesson? Physical product is not just a feature. It’s part of the transformation. When someone opens the box, it says: This is real. You’re choosing yourself. And you’re worth this investment.
