Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rachel Spencer/Wolff. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rachel, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I started my business in the midst of eating disorder recovery–having no idea where it would take me.
For context, I went to college for acting/theater and was quickly evaluated based upon my looks and body type. So I spent most of those college years exercising until I’d pass out or trying to skip meals in order to “fit the mold” of what was “cast-able” after graduation.
After moving to New York City, going through an awful breakup, and beginning to recover from my disorder…I realized acting wasn’t the right path for me. But considering I went to college and got a DEGREE in theater–I felt lost on what the hell I wanted to do with my life moving forward.
That’s when I hired my own life coach. Through working with him, I not only gained confidence in myself but I also realized I wanted to be a life coach as well–helping other women with body image issues. I absolutely loved it and felt like I’d found my calling in life.
Immediately, I began to go viral on Instagram with my story and filling up my 1:1 coaching. I was getting asked to speak on stages, was featured in multiple international news publications(such as SELF, Allure, Today Show, and more)…and that’s when other entrepreneurs began to take notice. They’d ask me, “How did you grow so quickly on Instagram? How is your 1:1 coaching always booked out? How are you going viral so often?” And that’s when I began helping other business owners. What started as “Instagram coaching” became a full fledged business coaching business in a couple years.
Now, I’m a full time Business Coach and my biz has generated over $2M in revenue in the last 3 years. The best part? I still use my acting skills every day as I speak and teach on camera. Everything always comes full circle :)

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Rachel Spencer/Wolff and I’m a Biz Coach & Launch Strategist for coaches and course creators.
After 8 years of being an entrepreneur, selling over 30+ digital offers, and serving thousands of clients in all different industries…I know that business is NOT a one-size-fits-all strategy. That’s why I specifically help my clients build a business that works for THEM. That includes building a custom roadmap that fits their lifestyle, their gifts, their energy, their audience, their niche, and so much more.
My signature course, Launch Queens®, was designed with this in mind–while helping entrepreneurs create, launch, and sell out their online offers(on repeat).

Any fun sales or marketing stories?
I’ve been the “Launch Queen” for as long as I can remember. I LOVED launching new offers(digital courses, live group programs, masterminds, etc) and found myself launching a new one every couple of months. I especially loved that I could give plenty of different ways to work with me–at all different levels and price points.
In March of 2021, my (now) husband was going on and on about “March Madness” basketball(a men’s college tournament in the USA) and how exhilarating it was to have a NEW game and NEW team to watch every week. “You never know what game is coming next or what’s going to happen,” he told me.
And that’s when it hit me: I could do a “March Madness” style launch where I sell a new secret offer every single week. It would be SUPER fun to drop multiple offers in a single month(at all different levels and price points) and it would captivate my audience, like it captivated my husband.
It felt like a huge risk…because I’d never seen anything like this done before. The world of marketing says that everything is a “formula” and strategy is a FACT…but I was ready to break the rules and do things my way. “What’s the worst that could happen?” I thought.
So I created this huge “event” titled March Money Madness and got my audience excited for this crazy idea! And, well, they loved it.
In one month, I dropped 5 different offers(all about launching and sales), served 100+ clients throughout all offers, and ended March with $81,000 in CASH sales.
This was proof that breaking the rules can pay off–and doing things YOUR way became my number 1 message/mission.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Hands down, the number 1 way for ANYONE to stand out in their market is to get innovative and be yourself(as cliche as that sounds). By breaking the rules of marketing, creating unique programs, and being 10000% myself, I was able to triple my revenue in 1 year–and eventually scale to over $2M this year.
I always say: All the things that you have been told make you “too much” are the things that make you unique and could potentially blow up your business this year. “Too loud”, “Too inappropriate”, “Too goofy”, “Too woo”…they’re all superpowers!
Your dreamy soulmate clients are waiting for someone like you–imagine them not being able to find you because you’ve silenced your true voice, posted aesthetically pleasing content, and overall just tried to fit in?
