We recently connected with Rachel Mitton and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Rachel thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
I work with my entire team on our Steps Of Service before the first attendee arrives. I like to set clear expectations on how to interact with attendees while giving the team freedom to also be themselves and authentic. The steps are called WE CARE and are…
Welcome
Engage
Consult
Assist
Reassure
Encore
And from our reviews our attendees always feel extremely welcome upon arrival of when asking for any needs.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Rachel Mitton, the creator and curator of Anahata’s Purpose, a festival that redefines wellness by making it accessible and customizable. I also run Jupiter Rituals, where I create custom, small-batch spells tailored to individuals’ unique paths. Beyond my professional ventures, I’m deeply invested in building a sustainable homestead where I care for my chickens and rabbits, and I’m surrounded by my ever-growing collection of tarot and oracle cards.
Wellness and accessibility have always been close to my heart. After attending many festivals, I realized that most wellness retreats were not only expensive but also felt exclusive in a way that didn’t resonate with me. That’s one of the reasons why I founded Anahata’s Purpose—to create a space where wellness is inclusive and everyone can see themselves reflected in the community, not just those who fit a certain mold.
In addition to all this, I co-host a podcast called Two Geminis and a Leo, where we dive into a variety of topics in relation to astrology.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
