Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rachel Kove. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Rachel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
When I became a mother at 27 years old, it was a very isolating experience. Being a Mom was hard, but I didn’t feel I had a right to talk about it. I felt like my thoughts and feelings would be judged. I felt lonely, overwhelmed, and insecure. I was also extremely career-driven. I didn’t want to give up my career to be a Mom. I was passionate about finding a way to do confidently do both. So I did. But…I had to learn to ask for help.
I also knew that if I balanced my mental health and mastered specific emotional life skills, I could be a fulfilled Mother and successful entrepreneur.
Let’s face it: being a mom is hard. It’s the best and most exhausting experience on the planet! You never feel like you have enough time for yourself, and sometimes you become the last on your list to take care of. I wanted this to change. To be the best Mom you can be, we as Moms have to learn to prioritize ourselves…and we can’t do it alone.
My dream is to end the loneliness of Motherhood with a tribe of like-minded women who are focused on personal growth. The Loved Mom community is a space for Mothers to feel heard and seen in their struggles while building the skills to thrive and succeed in their goals.
The Loved Mom provides personal development courses, guided meditations, positive affirmations, community, in-person events, emotional life skills, motivational talks, tools to deal with dysregulation and stress, life coaching, and techniques to improve relationships.
Moms are busy. The Loved Mom is designed to give Moms emotional support whenever needed. You were never meant to do this alone. I felt isolated when I first became a Mom, and because of that, I created a business to help other moms navigate out of isolation and into connection.

Rachel, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Seventeen years ago, I started my journey of transformation when I was sent to a residential treatment center for substance abuse. I haven’t had a drink since.
When I stopped drinking, I became passionate about working in the field of mental health and addiction to help other people who were struggling. For the last fourteen years, I have worked with thousands of individuals as a certified recovery life coach in one-on-one settings and as a group facilitator.
In 2017, I became the co-founder of Transformational Solutions, a life coaching company that focused on helping people overcome mental health and addiction challenges. In the same year, I became a Mom.
In 2018, I co-wrote and published my first book, a self-help emotional life skills workbook called The Mountain Method. In the last two years, I pivoted in business while also going through the trauma of a divorce. I wanted to devote my time and attention on my Got Mental Health Podcast with my co-host Arthur Mogilevski, and my new business, The Loved Mom. A company designed to end the loneliness and isolation of Motherhood by creating a safe space for moms to be seen and heard by like-minded women who are focused on personal growth.
The Loved Mom is a monthly membership service that offers emotional life skills and tools, guided audio affirmations, meditations, personal development strategies, self-help courses, access to a private community, monthly Zoom group discussions on curated topics, and an optional 16-week one-on-one or group coaching program.
I am proud of my resilience and mindset in overcoming adversity and leading a fulfilling and powerful life. I am blessed to be here and create products and services to help other women thrive. I want moms to know how capable they are because an empowered woman who prioritizes self-care with a supportive tribe is unstoppable!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
If there is one thing I know about myself, it is that I am blessed to be one strong, resilient Woman. Life will always give you challenges, but you must control how you respond to those challenges. How one responds to a challenge brings one closer to their goals or pushes them further away. I started the Loved Mom business as I was going through a divorce and became a single mom. Going through a divorce is one of the hardest, most painful, and most courageous experiences to walk through. It’s something one never expects to happen. A huge part of me felt like a failure.
I grieved. I felt the feelings and still do at times. I felt all of this while Mothering my son, who always deserves the best version of me. I knew that in order to be the best version of myself, I had to prioritize my self-care and emotional well-being, no matter how hard it was. So, I picked myself up, went to therapy, exercised, attended support groups, continued my personal development work, and finally developed The Loved Mom business.
I am so proud of this business and all of the women who feel loved, educated, and supported in their journey of Motherhood.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the lessons I had to unlearn is that the unknown is bad. When I reframed my perception and relationship to the unknown, that’s when everything changed for me. The unknown is no longer bad. It’s an opportunity to create possibilities and new experiences. I didn’t know what I was doing when I co-founded my first business. I didn’t go to business school. My business partner and I had an idea; we wanted to help, and we ran with it.
I led with a positive mindset, courage, and faith, and I was willing to learn and work hard to accomplish my goals. During that time period, I developed my confidence to start The Loved Mom business. If I didn’t take risks, I would not be where I am today. The unknown is a space to re-invent who we are. Don’t be afraid of it. It’s a chance to build the skills to execute our dreams and take action towards our purpose.
